ok im having trouble using showtext's right aligning feature

showtext 78893,0,0,arial,r,J00z0r NNNNNNNNNNNNN123;
}

doesnt see mto work quite right...

i tried changeimg vis to 4 but that didnt help at all.... help plz

Dude, it's right-aligned. If you put it in the upper-left corner of the screen/level then you won't be able to see it. Put it on layer 4 and draw it in on the right.

you have it set to appear at 0,0.. meaning the end of the text will begin there, then scroll on towards the front, to the left.. so you'll either see like, a pixel of the text, or nothing at all.

umm who deleted my post agrreing with ps that it was hard to switch from showimg @@@ to showtext?

I find showtext a lot easier to work with than showimg for text.

Well if you learn one way, and then a newer way comes up, but it's just as good, you'll stay with the first way =p

It isnt hard to memorize the post that are deleted or dont belong in a certain thread. Maybe he wrote it down becuase he knew you would ask.

I didn't write anything down. I just know what the two threads look like.

Yes, there aren't that many new posts on the scripting forums.

I'm going to dictionary.com everytime i see Kai post because he uses hard words for people who are not from england nor america and are 13 years old =\ and i'm best with english. How come? :rolleyes: Anyway, showtext is much better as you can do much more stuff as far as i know.
