Baking System? just an idea
 

How about some kind of banking system with ATM machines in stores? I know this might be difficult because you lose plat whe you die. But then maybe you don't have to lose plat when you die! It seems that if there was a place where you could deposit your plat:

1. There would be no use for PKers to kill over and over if they are not going to be able to drain you of all your plat.

2. You wont be weighed down by your hopefully increasing load of plat.

3. You might even be able to learn something about money management.

Banks can charge banking fees for atm withdrawls, etc. I know this type of system works on classic, so I dont see why it cant work in Kingdoms. Well its just a thought.

Well, I'm not sure ATM Machines would fit the time period.
But if you want to keep your money safe, just leave it in a chest in your house. ^.^

A chest in a house is still the best place for money, I'd say. For the banks, there was a suggestion a while back, to make some banks on the kingdoms' islands, where player can deposit a certain amount and gain interest (say 5%). The building can be attacked though, and be robbed in some way. It has to be hard enough to make it hard-earned money, and no matter how much is in the bank, every robber shouldn't get more than 1k I think. The money people deposited is lost then, so you shouldn't deposit all your money there anyway. It should be balanced that you got an equal chance of getting your money plus interest, or losing it all.
