it's abundant on gk and the sexual harassment is awful ..

and guys are bad towards each other too, they are always insulting each other and it's just not nice.

i don't understand why nothing is done about any of this ..

i'm getting ready to quit, it really takes away from the fun of the game ..

Be objective, just ignore the *******s and play with the nice people. I hate people that do those kind of things, don't get me wrong. If people did that to someone I know in real life I'd have their knees broken, and I mean it. But on a game it's harder to do that, so just don't talk to them or acknowledge them.

i know that, but it's really difficult to ignore them when it's every other step that it happens.

and if i do one little thing i get called a "hoe" or a "*****" and .. ugh ..

Then make fun of them like crazy. I'm serious, check their profile and see what their name is, look at their player name, don't hold back. Make fun of everything, even if you don't mean it. If you have to make a hard stand to get people to stop mouthing off to you, then do it. Or just IM me and I'll take care of them.

They you bring yourself as low as them. And now you are showing sympathy for her, and you basically tell me that I am nuts when I complained about this. You got some issues.

The sexual harassment is a big issue, and Tyhm and whomever else that will be the Admins on GK better put a stop to it.

That is because she is getting called more offensive things than "***". If it were just "***" I wouldn't sympathize.

That doesn't sound like the Christian thing to do.

Anyway: The world is full of idiots, and the internet encourages people to release their inner *****. These kinds of people always have been and always will be here.

I'm far from peace loving. My logic is that peace is only good if everyone can enjoy it. If I have to dirty my hands to get rid of people that do stuff like that, then by all means I will.

In addition, morals and faith are very seperate matters, for me anyway. I believe that religion is a good start for morals, and I do believe in God and Jesus Christ. However, I do not limit my morals so much by my religious beliefs as by what has always been my sense of what is right and what is wrong. I haven't always been Christian, I was about 7 or 8 when I asked my mom if she would take me to church. Many of my morals were planted before becoming a Christian. Obviously I don't believe that you require religion to be moral, but I think it can be a good guide for them when needed.

I believe that you are part of the problem if you want to go bustn' peoples knee's. Besides which, being called a *** is as bad as a ***** or a hoe.

In fact, I found this incredibly amusing as it's timing was impeccable. I don't particularly care about it, and I'd rather Denori be banned for scamming then for saying anything derogatory to me. The fact is however that it insighted neither anger nor a craving for vengeance, just the irony that such a thing would happen when all these threads were popping up.

No, it isn't important, and I already said he shouldn't be banned for it because I could care less. And he did say j/k afterwards, I think. This despite the fact that I don't like him at all and nothing would give me more joy to see him banned, I'd rather see it for something that actually matters.

Yes, but this is a game. Most of the time people are "just kidding", and even so it is infinitely easier to get away from people on a game than in real life.

That depends strongly on the person.

It does in private. If you called someone a hoe, and they took that as sexual harassment, then they could just tell the Admins, and it would be delt with. (There will soon be an Admin team on GK)

She held an event the other day, it was lvl 20 and below. I just restarted so I was lvl 19 by then, I said, "Hell, I will enter the event"

Everyone loses to her but me and denori because she lames with laggy spells. I pwn her with my hammer, and i say Ok, me and denori then right?

She proceeds by calling me names such as "oh what a *****ic idiot" "all guys are like this" or something of the sense...

Is it just me or does that seem to be a sexist stereotyping? Heh, it sure does to me. So because of the fact that I beat her, I am a *****ic idiot. Then she has the nerve to come post about people on the forums for doing the same thing she has just done?

I am not one of the people who called her a hoe or a ***** or whatever she said, that isnt my style and i dont roll that way. I just dont think posting about something she does is right, oh well

Reading these post sure brought back memories of how hard it was to play this game as a female. Since I'm playing at a higher level its not as bad as it use to be. But the sexual harrassment against females in kingdoms is a serious matter. When I first started this game and didnt know many people, everywhere I went, to a store, the dungeon, there would always be a guy jumping me from the back asking me "If it feels good" or "Yea Sl==t take it all in" while all his friends stood around laughing. Stupid stuff and yes I ignored it for awhile. Even when they'd corner me for a "**** gang bang" then I'd get cornered into a monster, die and lose experience, stats and items (those days u lost stats) after awhile I started fighting back and even swear back (and i rarely swear IRL) I almost quit, but i figured I paid to play like everyone else and I wasn't going to be bullied out. Every once in a while you run into people who steal from you, try to steal from you.... then call u sl..t..hoe...bi...ch. Then go on a Pking rampage.. because they can. And it does get frustrating. Ignoring it doesnt help, fighting back doesnt help.

What helps is when everyone who is tired of this kind of behavior sticks together and holds rude players accountable for their behavior. Stefan and Unixmad can't ban them all, bottom line is they can just come in on another account under a different user name and start the harrassment all over again. I say that players need to stand up and defend eachother against these kinds of players... then maybe they'll stop. A scammer cant scam if NO ONE will trade with him/her. A rude player isnt heard if EVERYONE doesnt listen. Sexual harrasment by a player isnt funny if NO ONE laughs.

Banning isn't the solution. Training is better. A person swears too much or harrasses people? Render his character unable to speak for a few hours of gametime. Somebody likes to grab players in lewd ways? Flag his account such that he's viewed as a pink rabbit, again for a few hours. In-game punishments are the best way to deter people without making them want to quit or excluding them altogether.

Honestly I dont think that would solve it, the maturity level is much too low and that would be considered funny, and be suseptable for a rofl or a lmao. Lol, that woudnt be the greatest thing. People become addicted to this game even though it is sad. Just keep them away from the game for a while.

At first, perhaps. But then they realise that they can't attack or cast spells while in bunny form (I guess it could also be a punishment for harrassment by PKing).

If you keep them away then you break the addiction, and thus lose a player. Better to tame an unruly player than to cut him out completely.

Or just dodge the car and not sit in the driver's seat!
