Tell me what you think about it i know its not to detailed but i dont now any of the cool light scripts like the water one and and all those ones to make it look really nice.

Lots of tile errors, You could aslo stop the cutting and pasteing, aslo drop the number of treetop.gifs, it needs more detail(grass, flowers, maby rocks and bushes), and the house could have been worked on more, aslo try to make the Tree houses less Uniform (looking like each other)

Regardless of if you know Gscript or not you can still make nice levels without them =)
First of all, all of those tree NPCs, most of that, infact all could be done with just tiles. Second problem is the water, too straight, add some dark parts, wind it a bit, and fix courners. Next part is detail, its too blank, use some more tiles. Sorry for crap review, *revising* |
Man where to begin...
The tree's dont use a bunch of images to make up the forest like that. Use the actual tree tiles and join them together. It looks alot nicer Your river is straight. Try to change that and make it more curved and wha tnot. Also maybe change up the type of stream bed have some sand etc.. Also tile error in the corner where the river turns. Grass I recommend checking out one of the tutorials stickied above. It would at least put you in the right direction. All in all this is a very basic beginners level. It definatly needs alot of work before any one would find it playerworld quality. Once you get these three major things taken care of I would recommend reposting it and getting further feedback on how to enhance it. But for the time being I think you should just focus on that. |

i know there are some tileset errors with the river because i cannot find the rite tile for the corners but how is the river now ? and i moved a few of the houses. It sopposed to be an elven village that is why the houses are in trees.

The tile you're looking for is on position 9 22. (I believe) I also put it in the screen shot so you could see where its at. It's next to the sand tile. The little grass tile with the corner in it.
The problem with your rivers isnt about forks in the river and branching off. It's the river its self is straight. The river should twist and turn. If you look at a river it is never straight. There is always river bends and what not where the river turns. It needs to be curved and not striaght like an L Look at the screen shots for what I mean. (I juse used any old tile to show the curving motion of how a river might look compaired to what you have.) |
