I have an idea if the kingdom villages get in, how about hunting? Using knives or bows or other small things will produce more food than a larger weapon due to ur shredding more meat with a larger weapon, this would also be a good idea instead of killing bomies and farming for food

What would you hunt, if not bomys? (Given the kingdoms get some kind of bomylike creatures).

maybe deer(sp?) or birds or something???
