A subscription suggestion.
 

To unixmad, Stefan, whomever it may concern. This being my first post at the Graal Online Communication Center, I'd just like to clearly state that I appreciate the creation and effort put into this game, I am new and I really enjoy it. Now, to the importance, I think it'd be good to add a subscription plan that just allows unlimited Classic server access. I mean, that's what most people really want, I bet you'd get a few more buyers. I thought of this when I saw a 3-month $19 plan earlier this month. Since it was the cheapest, I decided to rake up some money, and pay the $19 for just the Classic servers really. When I earned the money and go back to subscribe, the $19 subscription now requires you buy one of the other subscriptions, the cheapest being a $28 6-month Gold server plan. So I basicly ended up paying an extra $9 to play the Classic servers. I hope you understand the motion in this topic, and you know it isn't a complaint! Thanks!

that's a really good idea. i payed the extra money, when all i wanted was classic.

Wheres the fun in that? Why make subscriptions more specific, when they can be broad, and make more money.

The reason is enticement. If they offer the base choice with one or two bonuses for a slightly extra price, they'll more likely get sales of that particular package versus a stand-alone or with them seperate. Its usually far more expensive for the consumer to have to pay for two things seperately so its made convienient by putting two or more things together and adjusting the price accordingly so that it may be the better deal.

exactly, i payed it for the classic only, my friend wanted to join be he didnt have that much money, even a lower price like 20 bucks for classic would be alot more reasonable.

I just find it kind of strange that it costs more to upgrade an existing account to gold for 12 months+VIP, than it does to upgrade a new account for the same thing.

$28 is too much? And your friend pays how much for console and/or GB/GBA games? Please. I'm sick of these lame excuses. If he wants an account that bad he can save his money till he can afford it :)

Why don't you just buy VIP alone for now? Since the extras are not all there just yet VIP accounts are being treated to full Gold access :) And the reason new accounts get the better deal is simply that; they are new!

You don't have full access because stefan updated the gold servers to add a day-of-week check for VIP accounts?

The gold subscription prices should be LOWER.

And they are. A lot lower than games like PSO or Everquest :p

Lame cheapskates. I mean, come on. You probably get more good stuff here than from those two games. The ability to create your own world. Can't really do that on PSO or Everyquest now can you? You're restricted to playing what the servers provide and nothing more for a whole lot more than you pay for Graal. You take for granted too much of the good things available at such a inexpensive cost (when looking at it in monthly fees.)

$3.17 a month (USD) for a full gold subscription. How is that expensive?

Graal is very cheap. I mean other online games are charged monthly like 12-20 dollars a month. Take ******ok for example. It's like 6 months or something for like 67-87 dollars...Graal is a good game,and it's fun sometimes. If you say it isnt fun then I see you only play 1 server. I have experience playing every server. I play a new server every month. If anyone wants to explore and quest on new servers say so here,or message me on AIM: whitzemann8 . It can really be alot of fun.
