Experience loss?
I went from level 21 to level 20 today .. lost about 600,000 xp somehow.
.. I have no idea why. No, I didn't encounter Bile's avatar. I was killed a few times in battle mode .. but .. could that truly be it? I will even test it now .. .. no. I just asked a friend to kill me, and I lost no experience from being killed. So what's going on?! X_X If I could be restored that's great, but I can understand if that's not an option .. .. but I think I should be, I lost this from some sort of bug! :( |
Well if ur not peaceful mod and were hit by Uifz avatar (or any i dont now) that has bile has god they life steal, you see what i mean? they hit u and u lose alot of exp
i would suggest u go back to peaceful since this thing isnt over yet... |
The lightning/bullet walls will take exp from you I think.
|
Uifz killed me earlier and i lost 400k exp fropm phys, thats alot seeing as lords only give me 30k each and i cant get an immense
|
This avatar should be fixed, then... or remove life-stealing in general °°

I have 100% resistance to all of Bile's attacks, he can't hurt me.
The only thing I can think of is that I mistakingly prayed over Govannon's altar .. but I know I would have remembered seeing the "Heretic!" message :\ I guess I'll just go lord hunting for a while. I think that it was my mistake, because I just noticed now that I DID lose xp in wisdom. I just didn't realize that it now said TWO million instead of the previous THREE. :\ So yeah, I lost 1 million xp from mistakingly praying over an altar, I think. This isn't a bug, but I still see a problem there. :o Oh well, back to killing lords .. let's see, at 30k per kill, that should work out to .. 33 lord kills. Well, I guess that isn't TOO bad. At least it'll give me something to do for a while ... :\ |
Don't go cry to stefan again to get a restore. -_-

I do think though that it's somewhat unfair that you can mistakingly pray over an altar. Sort of reminds me of when people would acidentally restart. :p |
How about this? Gov shows up, lifts you up and asky, in some dwarven-polite way: "sure you want to do this?" If you say no he'll be so kind to hurl you to your god's altar...
But for a serious suggestion... I think switching gods should leave some kind of mark on you, which evaporates over, say, a month. When you switch again with a mark on your losses will be higher, and chances are the god doesn't allow you at all - and no chance to switch with 2 marks. |
