Some Tile errors on a tree, and on the cliff thing, anywy, prety good, add water detail and 6/10

nice level, although the shallow light blue water could be a bit more interesting, but overall its nice.

Well, the level could be poo, or it could be p00t.

Well it isnt to awsome,but it isnt bad. I guess it's ok. Add more detail.

Use an original style, not one that is on every playerworld.

The level shows some talent. But overall its boring and bland way over done. It doesnt show any uniquness. As for mistakes. You mentioned the water that does need some work, also the sand its bland needs more mix up of all the sand tiles not just one or two. All in all I would give it a 6/10 With the water and sand fixed up it could easily be a 7 possible an 8.

Also p00t making up words like this is just retarded it might have been popular a couple of years ago but any more its considered lame.

If you are going to go giving ratings around irresponsibly without giving the slightest hint to what is wrong with the level, then go away. You are being malicious, not helpful, and it's a waste of server space.

shore tiles have no detail
water has god aweful shallow water
grass detail is hideous
Tile errors up the ass
trees are ugly
way too much water stuff

He's welcome to post where ever he wants. You have no right to dictate where he can respond his opinions are just as valid as any other. If you wanted more response you should specifically say that in your original post instead of being an ass.

No where in this post does it ask for why you're giving the rating that you are. It only asks for you to rate it. He did just that and you go getting all anal about it because he doesnt like it. If you wanted opinions on why you should ask and not throw a complete fit when he doesnt.

What is the point of posting a low rating if you aren't going to give what's wrong with it? Intelligent people generally point out what is wrong with the level when they give a low rating. Of course intelligence may be too much to expect from one such as he, since he found time to make two short posts to cause bad air instead of one post to give tips.

Regardless of wether or not its helpful to you for people to give examples its not necessary to rate a post. Had he given a 10/10 and not given any reasons to why it was good you wouldn't care you would just be happy with it. If you wanted him to specify you should have asked in your original post. Regardless of if he was comming off as a **** or not.

He can respond if he pleases you have no rights in ordering him not to as this is a public forum. If you dont like what he says just ignore him and dont respond. If some one is trying to instigate something they do it because they expect some sort of retort back such is the way with trolls. If this was truly his purpose and you didnt respond back then he would go in search of new prey. But if you go around flaming him for responding to posts in a public forum dont be surprised if people flame you in return for flaming.

Good ratings mean that there is nothing really wrong with your level. Bad ratings mean there is, and should include explanations. He's an idiot, has he ever even posted a level?

I know you're trying to be all righteous here, but you're being a hypocrite. Just as you say the Eric_1337 guy has the right to say what he wants about the level, protagonist has the right to tell him to not post here. That doesn't mean that Eric won't post here, but still, you need to listen to your own advice, because you come off sounding rather stupid. That is my opinion, if you don't like it, well... you can make a reply with your own opinion and I will gladly not give a crap. :)

By the way, the level is decent, but it could use some work. Yeah, it's rather bland and boring, not very unique. You have one of the treetops too high off the tree, and yeah, the water needs detailing. All and all, it's rather plain, and I mean, I don't know about everyone else, but when I'm walking through nothing but nature levels, I really don't pay that much attention to the grass and cliffs and stuff. As long as they aren't full of errors, it will look fine. Just make some unique stuff in the level as well. Stuff that will draw the player's attention towards certain areas.

Protagonist can say all he wants, but he can't control what my actions are. I'm sure draygin was mainly unhappy by the way he said it, not that he can't say it. Being a complete ass and trying to force someone off their thread in a very disturbing way... it's going to turn some heads and complain.

Hey! You wanna fight? Stop arguing!

- Some parts of the level seem a bit plain. I think the pond water could use a bit more detailing. There's also a few tile errors around some of them.
- There are some tile errors here and there around some of the sand/grass parts.
- The cliffs are well done, but again many tile errors on them, especially the one near the bottom.
- Some of the trees don't look right. I realized they were npc's. You might want to realign them a bit, especially the one on the top left where you can see some of the normal tree with the edges missing.

Rating: 3/10

If you fix it up a bit in some of those areas then it will be a very nice level. :)

No, posting a low score and "not having time to comment" makes you look like an ass.
I want people to tell me why my level isn't a "good" one in their eyes so I can improve it. 3/10 just tells me that you didn't like the level, it doesn't tell me why. You could just disagree with other posts I've made on the forums and decided to retort in with a low score for all I know.

Once again... thats all you asked for. If they liked the level or not with the rating. You didnt ask for advice on what was wrong with it or how it could be improved. Yes if some one wanted to be helpful they would have posted what could be improved. However if they wanted to merely state that they didnt like it they would do so since its all you asked for. Is there some part of this concept that you're having trouble with? If you want opinions about your level state so in your original post. After you requested it he even did eventually state why although it wasnt very nice in how he did it. In which your right he came off as an ass with that post but not his original one how ever.

5/10 Bland level nothing stands out on it. Levels like this can be found on any server. If you want a good score make something that stands out as different from what you can see everywhere else.

Well, the brown sandish thing in the water isn't tiled in correctly, but I think that's because you forgot to detail the water...which I will leave alone for now. I personally think there should be a bit more deep in places though...Blah I don't like those water tiles..the other ones are better o_o...but whatever.

Also, the grass tiling is terrible. It's just plain green with tall grass. Way too booooriiing. There's a little other stuff...but barely any.

Oh yeah, 3/10.

And one thing that I really hate is using images for trees...just tile them damn it. maybe it doesn't look as good or whatever, but I could tell from that screen that you used treetop.gif...and that is definitely a bad thing. Trees that you can walk behind are stupid, it doesn't fit in with the rest of the way the classic worlds are setup, and you didn't even do it right.

It's not really bad though.
