NPC Request Thread. (Admins and Managers Only)
 

Hello,

The Global Scripting Team is taking requests for NPCs Now. Managers and Admins of servers may request a npc here. Follow this format.

Server: Your Server Here
Account: Your account name
Position: Your position on that server.
NPC Server? True or False (Dont really apply no more).
NPC: Tell us how it works. Everything about it.
Date: When you need it by.

For now only Online Servers may apply. Please don't reply if you have a request. PM me suggestions.

Please try to limit the number of requests you make. So we don't get flooded with one server :)

Thats a nice idea, as some people have ALOT of ideas but can not actually put them into place because of lack of skills. I hope to see alot of new additions to PWs and hopefully some cool things being added.

w00t! What a wonderful idea
While i have no specific request for a new npc at the moment, i was wondering if that also covers something that is plaguing us badly.
Many have tried to fix this problem, it works for awhile then something goes wrong.
I did ask for help with this once before but was refused as he was busy.
If anyone from the team , would be wiilling to donate a little time and expertise to help me, i would be forever greatful.

I'll take PMs for requests as well, also the team will be working on developing template systems that we will install on servers if the manager wishes (some systems include: chat systems, hp systems, secure weapon damaging systems, etc)

Can't really blame people for that. I regret not being active, but you know, I do not have a VIP account and it won't let me connect without one. Let alone my lack of 3d performance.

Could one of you GST people help make Atlantis less-laggy? It seems they have alot of slow buggy npc's. But I dont know if the Staff there wants anything to change. I asked zwr and he said he didnt really care.

Yes, I think it's because Loriel is on another timezone. Him and I used to be really cool, but haven't got to see much of him lately because of the hours we keep =(
I haven't been on much in the mornings because I like to sleep in and I HAD school, and then I'm busy with things during the day, but I am trying to be on much more.
I'm always open for NPC's =)

well i give up on trying to get someone to help me with ctf, we just struggle along , my Bugs Admin is getting better experienced at fixing it as we do i think.
Anway there is something we would like help with though.
Anyone in particular i can ask?

I don't know if this is possible but is there anyway to make a pkzone into a nonpkzone on command by maybe a chat message or a certain account entering the level? Is there a command I dunno about? o_O!

EDIT: err... I mean making a switching pkzones on and off on command by chat and certain accounts entering maybe thats easier to understand -_-

Keep in mind, that I don't even know if this works, seeing as I haven't done real coding in about a year, and as I don't know which commands have been changed, edited, or disabled.

I made an NPC earlier which did something like this; a chat command caused an npc with noplayerkilling to be putnpc2-ed into the level...the only thing is, there is no opposite to this; so the noplayerkilling stays until after it is destroyed and someone reconnects (since it's clientside).
