OpenGL

I can't find out howto download OpenGL for Linux. I am currently running Mandrake 9.1 and my GFX card is a SiS 630.

Anyone want to help?

Edit: The reason I want to know is so maybee I can make Graal less laggy on my Linux Box. If it helps any of you Linux guru's out there I also get this error, but the game still runs, "Xlib: extension "XFree86-DRI" missing on display ":0.0"."

Ah this seems to be common problem, already answered in the non-graal related forum:

http://www.winischhofer.net/linuxsis630.shtml

is the best souce of information about SiS on Linux. SiS is a quite stupid company when it is about Linux, may be they get money from MS for not doing Linux drivers. I hope you have one of the few SiS cards where OpenGL+DRI works.

In Mandrake Linux's Hardrake it says I have 3D Rage LT Pro AGP-133
Vendor: ATI
Module: Card: ATI Mach64 Utah
Media Class: DISPLAY_VGA

This should help for ATI-mach64 cards:

The driver:

Tips about the installation:

Ok well I started to install the linux drivers at 9:30PM here it is 11:31 pm and its still installing, it seems to be installing drivers for every ATI graphics card, so ill tell you if the installation is a success.

I installed a new driver and now I get:

Could not find compatible OpenGL display resolution. Please check driver configuration. (Error: Couldn't find matching GLX visual.)

Anyone have any idea? Graal worked before I installed a new driver but very slow.

okay thanks, hey Stefan while it was installing the drivers last night, all of a sudden it gave an error and stopped installing, but it did back everything up in a folder.

Sweet, I got it all working and it's amazingly fast. Some GFX are odd, but I have 0 lag and this computer isn't even my best one.

I love it :), and I can see light effects now (I used to have them off because it would lag so bad.)

When ever i try to start 3.0 , i get segmentation fault at line 5 x-x.

More info if you plan on having the problem solved.
