Events + New 2K1
 

If the new 2K1 is expected to have events and be eventful, we'll need some ideas for some new events. ^_^

I beleive events such as survivor and CS will stay. (And most others) But, we need more ideas to make the server less blase and more fun. We don't want survivor and CS to become overplayed again, instead we want a wide variation of events, so here's your chance to put in your two cents, and possibly get something of yours put on the new 2K1.

We should have paintball...with real paint =O... use lights as paint splotches, kind of like laser tag but with paint, and we can paint pictures =O

Not everything should be slashing the others. Maybe a puzzle game of some sort? Like ubermetris, with a bigger field, and more multiplayer compatable? So you can have tournaments or somthing.

Use ideas from mario party games, those are cool the little multiplayer ones.

Too many NPCs and lighting effects could potentially really hamper a player's performance.. Though, it is a good idea.

Maybe, football or baseball that actually is good. Like gfx to swing at the ball or throw it normally. For like throwing football to someone you aim with mouse to throw to that area and you have to touch the ball to catch it. :O! Make ganis for diving for a baseball when its hit. :P!:megaeek:

Ive noticed that there is a small open to player area in G2k1 is that just to keep players pacified? or is that a sign that things are close to completion?

Personally, I'd say just to keep players pacified. ;)
But I'm glad we can at least connect to the server now, without being disconnected.

It's a waiting area; it's there for waiting. :)

Hm..how about...Musical chairs...Hehe Like a Player plays the Violin or something and theres lots of Chairs and yeah yeah..And maybe a Contect to see who can play Instruments best..some more peaceful and fun Events..

Musical chairs would be ruined so badly by lag. The instrument thing can already be done without development.

Well actually a Instrument contest could take Work..
A nice flashy level where et's can warp the Player whos going next into a Little stage thingy and the others sit down and listen and say something like vote <player> <1-5> Or something..

That would simply be a popularity contest. It's your choice to believe it or not, but not everyone bothers to vote according to quality and originality of music.
Besides, I bet all that there would be for choice, would be The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, or Majora's Mask ocarina songs.

Dodgeball. Hide-and-Seek.

CTF Paintball Would ROX! Also, Hide-N-Seek would be genius but would be a bit hard to do I think :(
