Ambassador

I think that all kingdoms need an ambassador in allied nations, or even also neutral nations. The ambassador should help any member of his nation in the nation he is living in. He should have a house (ammbassady), and acces to the shipyard. This would make it more interesting i would say, as he can also act as a diplomat.

Sounds like a good idea, it's just hard to find players who can and will RP enough so they act like real diplomats...

I can and have the will to...

Not neccesarily, I'd be glad to do it for my kingdom. :/

In that case... still a good idea, and with the right people... maybe the embassies should get a sign of their own, and some special properties - a little space arround them might even be concidered extra-territorial... whatever that actually means.

I think it means that its part of another land...
Heh it would be fun to become Ambassador...
I wanna be x.x But the rank stuff will be complicated...
Name should be:
Ambassador Cyrin Cyrilin in Zormite of the (Forest)

Well, perhaps it is a better idea to have one ambassador per kingdom that goes to all the other kingdoms when they are needed.

No, that isn't an ambassador... That's more an represantive or a minister ((Like Powell). Besides, i wouldn't put a ambassador in enemy area, so your kingdom would have about 4 or 3 ambassadors.

I think it would be good to get competent roleplayers at the heads of the kingdoms before we start arranging matters on the lower levels -_-

GoZelda 05-14-2003 05:08 PM

Guess so. But i'm quite a good role-player and i already hosted an event.

I support the 'grass-roots' approach to improving RPing, work from the bottom up, and soon the leaders will have to RP to keep the respect of their subjects.

Any idea that improves RPing, that actually works - is a good thing.

It always stinks when good ideas die because people wait on the top people to do anything, or people get discuraged because of the apathy of others.

Still needs approval from the top of course, but it's a good idea.

In Borea on Dustari, we have rooms for representatives in the town center I believe. The rooms are done in the style of the kingdoms they represent. It would be nice if we could add locking doors, etc, so ambassadors can store their things there.

Yes. But if some of the top people were replaced with competent roleplayers then there would be no problem.

Ambassadors get removed when they're doing bad ;)
