Tilesets....

I dont like the Default Graal tileset as much...... but I want to know...... How do I use tilesets from other servers? Like UN,Era?

Thanks for the help!

Well ones such as Maloria who only have put things in the exact same place would work (by renaming it 'pics1.png) and putting it in main graal folder.

But things like Era wouldn't work, as they are made so only their levels work with that tileset, it would look stupid if you always used eras, as the tiles are not in the same place, so it wouldn't work.

Also UN doesn't have a tileset does it?

UN uses the defult graal tile set :O
p to the s
each server probley sets up it's tiles diffrent. if you try to use tiles from a server on a diffrent server somehow, it will most likley screw it up badly :X

cant you just make an NPC that has the addtiledef attribute so it would be

addtiledef tilesetname.png,;

???

The server NPCs would over-ride that NPC you make in an offline level, so you cant change the tilesets unless you over-write all of the PW tiles with ones you want, and then it would still over-write yours when a new one is uploaded.

you could just alter pics1 to your liking or maybe just deal with the default tileset

For something like Maloria
addtiledef image,levelstart,type;
image - maloriatileset.png ?
levelstart- mal_
type - 0

For Era (same as before)

image - era whatever
levelstart - era_ (i think)
type - 1

The easiest way is to goto your graal folder, goto Levels, TileDefs, and open the the file with the tileset you want (ex. tiledefsEra.txt). When you open the file, copy everything in it. (Ctrl + C). Then open "tiledefsOffline.txt", and paste over everything inside it. Close it (Save). and start graal, goto the editor. If you chose to use the Era tileset, name the level "Era_Blahblah". save it, and the tileset should change. I don't think i explained that very well... if you didn't understand any of that, just post your question, or PM me, or whatever... :o

Everything is right.. If you didnt understand the part about making the actual level you go... new level save it as era_whatever.nw/.graal,close the level and then open it up again. It should work. If not use the script of have someone help you.
