Dude6252000 05-01-2003 11:32 PM

That looks like ugly boxes, with ugly hands. :(

Ducken 05-02-2003 12:12 AM

Hmm.... Well, maybe you could take the box things off it's arms and shade them. I think it would give it more shape and a less square-look. The boxes on it's arms give it an awkward look, in my opinion.

Wtf was that supposed to be? It looks like some green square arms with some crazy lines in the back......:o

look better?

Mmmm...lego dragon.
Well, you've got the basic shape of the body there, but when you add the detail, try to avoid such straight lines. Try to use yourself as a reference, (like look at your hands and such, if all else fails, head to a mirror.). But yeah, the basic sketched shape is alright, just add some dimension and smoothness.

The hands have no depth. But seeing as it's a work in progress, I can overlook that for now.
But another problem with the hands is that they look like they were made with a ruler. Also, they are identical images, only flipped. If you pay close enough attention to your own hands, you will see that one is bigger than the other, and other things, like finger length, and size.

i see it now....sort of >_>

ok i smoothed out alot of crap on the legs and some of the arms and i tried to detail the hands

cynicalfree1 05-03-2003 05:10 AM

I hate it when people make these threads and say im not done yet but look at it anyways. Please wait until your done. You can still post like 2-3 screenshots but at least have some mroe work done first.

As for the graphic goes.....its a bit strange.

It still looks bad. (The hands.) And the outline looks worse now.

I don't visit this forum often, but I just happened to and I'd like to thank you for providing that link. It'll be helpful to me in the future. :)
