Key rings and chests
I think this fits best here: I recently baught a keyring and put my housekey in it. I can open the house withit there, no problem - but my locked shests tell me I don't have the proper key. Shouldn't they recognize keyringed keys, too?
Also, I got a blue woven carpet, but when I drop it I can't see it - it is there, because I can pick it up by double click, but still I can't see it, neither can a friend. I got other carpets inside and none shows that behavious... |

Also, the carpet thing? I dunno, maybe the GFX aren't done or something. Try dropping it outside first. |

But the carpet doesn't work outside, neither... |
Double clicking a chest to open it makes you close the key ring that has the key, opening a door doesn't close the key ring with the key.
|
But opening the door doesn't open nor close the ring, apparantly it doesn't touch the active container - I could enter the house and my cauldron remained open. That's my point, why does the house door go without opening the ring and the chest doesn't?

Kaiser, no --
simply readying the key ring should be enough, and opening the chest wouldn't unready it (last part isn't a suggestion it's truth). That's how I use my pouch when I shop, I just ready it and buy. It takes the money out and doesn't try to put a spellbook in a money pouch. |
/help usekeys
/usekeys keyrings Searches keyrings for keys first. |
