Exodus: Updates a hell of alot
 

First of all the old PW is still there with scripts levels and graphics but I thought I'd start something so I did, Me, Wan & Snake are working on the levels, from the screenshots shown you can see a few of them etc etc, I didn't feel like the tileset set on this version of Exodus because I've noticed alot of people like the classic stuff Yade Yada Yada blah blah there will be events and all etc crap like that.

Anyone got any good ideas for the server? post em cause I want Maybe player input if the server ever goes up *****.

Umm, things to come on it are:

CTF, Chaser (A game where you chase a stupid little thing around), Tag (Kinda self explanitory but will have a scoring thing), there will be Quizes and stuff and Battles (Freestyling Rap) just for a change of style, all that sorta stuff aswell as pking areas, spars & spar tournys etc.

With the Status n all I scripted I added in if the player's in a sparring zone it will show text saying <| Sparring Zone | >.

I think that all the people making a playerworld now get together and just make a big one. There are not enough players to play on each server evenly distributed. Mabey a playerlimit restriction can be put into place?

Just go a great idea. There should be a max amount of players on each server. Anyone can go on the server, trial and classic upgraded. But if there are, say.... 50/50 players, no more trial people can connect as a player, but as a ghost in a waiting line. But if a classic player connects, he will boot off the last trial player that connected and he will connect. There can be more then 50 classic players on at a time, or not. I dunno what way would be best.

The server's around 2100 levels or so lol, that's only part of that mpa you can see there cause I'm to lazy to generate *****.

Btw they did do waiting lists awile back and you had to wait to one person signs off or something of the sorta, I was only on trial for a little while so yeh.

I like that idea. It would encourage the trail players to spread out, if not, upgrade. But whatever you do, do NOT start making limits on classic players, thats just a BAD idea. Happened before, no need to annoy people anymore. Besides people have upgraded for the full life-time limited connection to all PWs, so you cant change now. I think just a limit on amount of players on free trail accounts that are online. That would also slightly help with the Hacking, as they couldn't get on to 'hack' if too many people are on, which would be most of the time, as they pick on bigger PWs.

Your last screen shot, you shoudn't use '***' as an offensive homophobical (sp) slang word, as thats against the rules, so linkin to it is too.

Last of all.... Maps looking very nice keep it up, add detail to KO and also:

You can simply fix the text thing by making that background a showimg layer and using:

i hope you have more detailed than the like 8 or 9 levels in that map

why name the server after a card in the yu-gi-oh show :O?

Um, the term exodus is a very old word. Its a mass departure.

It's Exodia, not Exodus.

X.X the servers name is Exodus, not eXodia.

They sound very simmilair but Exodus has been around alot longer and that's Snakes server or Wans, they're helping me out.

Exodus is from the bible, Exodus Meaning something like: Destruction of some sort i'm not quite sure.

All the levels in that area will be detailed, the server is obviously not finished so I assumed that you would of assumed that wasent all the detailing I was gonna do :).

and i'm pretty sure there wouldn't be any copywrights on Exodus for a name because It was used in the bible and i'm not trying to sell anything.

I will implement a roleplaying type story into the server but nothing big.

I didn't mean for *** to offend you and nor did I want to mock or be rude to people who are homosexual I was just stating that the NPC was pretty stupid, I didn't mean for any offence.
I'm a very easy going type person so Homosexuality and other stuff of the kind doesn't worry me. but if you were offended Spark i'm sorry.

The view count was at 0 is what he ment and it's a bug X.x.

Any comments on the map?, Wan has been doing that bottom bit the snow and all, I done all the top and Snakes done about 4levels or so.

I remember working for exodus like 2 years or more ago. But you werent on the team. I believe the orginal owners were Trine_351,and Cronic_351. Then we just gave up one day because Kingdomds and some oher server was coming out,so we wouldnt be able to pull players from 2k1,and classic the 2 main servers at the time.

Cronic's still the owner but Trine is no longer staff.
I sorta came along last year we finished the original server but it didn't pass then we started making the server with the tileset which I still have but I dont wanna finish that one then I started making this one so yep ;).
