God Artifacts
 

Well I was wondering if God artifacts are added in yet, and I want to know if you sit there and pray for a long time to get them or if they are random items in dungeons.

Im just curious so please fill me in.

Govannons Holy Relic, Thorins Plate Mail +2, can be gotten but you need a minimum of 50 grace and you need to pray for an hour or more...I dont know about the other Gods. I believe if they have a low level relic then you can get it but medium and high you cant unless you hack and have a minimum of 150 grace or more.

Ohh, so it's 50, 100, 150? I thought it was 30, 60, 100 .. that would explain why I was able to get medium but not high.

Yeah, I follow Brigid, and she granted me four prayers ..

.. too bad I can only get one of her relics, though, the other three are high. My max grace is 102.

Your max grace is 51, 102 is doubled. To get holy relics you need 50 for low, 150 for medium and 300 for high...
The prayers on the otherhand are different, I dont know what you need to get those and what low/medium/high mean on it.

Also I just found out Ogma gives out his Orc Helmet with a minimum of 50 grace.

spells are granted at 30,60,90 or something.

Rabid, what if Stefan told Locke that Locke lived in a closet, would Locke believe him? and Locke, another thing, Stefan isn't the only one who goes on RC and knows these things?

It's slightly off topic, but how can i get my grace to double while praying at an altar? It doesn't work for me...

You need a wisdom level of like...10 or something I think.

I don't think so, because I've had it happen to me at level 1

To get double grace just pray at your gods altar.

Will gods give their Artifacts always if you just pray long enough, or is it possible that you pray one day for many hours and get nothing, while some other day you pray hald an hour and receive it? I.e., how random is it, if at all?

They will always give the artifact if you meet the requirement. You can get like 5 Thorins Plate Mail +2 from Govannon but it would take about 5 hours and you can't drop any artifact so there is no point in getting 5 since it will just weigh you down. It takes approximately 1-2 hours to get low level artifacts. I can't tell the medium and high because I don't have 150 or 300 grace to get one.

What are the stats on that stupid thing.

So far, in the god forums, they only mention stats of the Ogma Bracers, I think this is really bad because it makes them seem so powerful compared to the other stuff, who's item's stats aren't mentioned, mention all, or mention none, don't do it halfway.

I'll just ask jagen, he can look it up on debug in the arc folders or something.

I meet the requirement for "medium" (learned a medium level prayer) but I have yet to get the "Gloves of the Sun" from Brigid. Those are medium. *grumble*

Lier, it is impossable to get medium. Nate is level 16 wisdom and doesn't even got that much.

Cali, thats wrong.. she/he could be priest class, she could be lvl 10-16, used lots of potions.. which i doubt.. but theres a chance.

Umm, Priest class gets about 10 more grace then other classes. When I started I had like, 11 grace, 13 sp, and only 8 HP.

The stats are: dex+1,ac+3,armor+20,resist poison +30 and it's low I believe...

Locke_boy I already told you the requirement for medium for holy relic and prayers are DIFFERENT. To get a medium relic you need a minimum of 150 grace which I seriously, seriously doubt you have unless you cheated or something. The stats on Thorins Plate Mail +2 (it comes +2 :) and its Govannons Holy Relic) is
Str +1 armor +50 resist fire +30 ac +3 (ac +5 since its +2), you may think omg thats so much better than helmet, it is but it isnt. It weighs you down when you wear it, I go from 4.833 speed (no armor) to 2.566 when I wear it so I probably wont wear it much..

I'd switch to Ogma if he didn't get that magic resist down...his bracers are awesome, but...hm...some other gods might give even stronger gear.

I got Ogma's Orc Helmet today, and it didnt even take me 15 minutes. lolol.

I was wearing a luck+1 helmet, wis+2 ring, with 22 wis stat, 51 grace.

Bah, 150 for medium? Insane. Should be changed!

There have been a few variations proposed, any of which are fine (100 for high is more than enough!)

25 50 100

etc.

but 150 for MEDIUM? Give me a break .. even 150 for high is too much. I'm level 12 in wisdom and a priest. I have 19 power, 20 int (this is with my ring of Ancient Magic and ring of Adamant on) and 21 wisdom. In the past I have used three improvement potions, so my GP is maxed out. With this I have 57 grace, which, when doubled while praying on the altar is only 114. After level ten .. HP, GP, MP .. all only go up by two. So, going by this .. I will basically never get any relics (nor will anyone else).

It's fine. Do you even know what some relics do? If one person got ahold of one that is high they could own EVERYONE. The high relics should stay above 400 grace or so so no one can ever get it. Medium though is also godly but it should be decreased a bit...Also your double doesn't gain you stuff, its just your max, so you would need 100 to get 200 but 200 wouldnt be the real # it would be 100..

Isn't it a little strange to make stuff with the intention that nobody should ever get it? Why not remake them in an less godly way and give them out with 30, 60 90 or such? Otherwise, if nobody should get them, you can also remove them right away.

Also, does anyone know the attributes of the other relics? Aengus bow, Brigids stuff (except flowers...), Leucetious mail...? I'd post that in the Gods-forum but people don't seem to look there :\

The grace limits are 100, 300, 600 and 1000
When you pray you can get maxgrace*2, so with 50 you can get the low level stuff. Your grace is majorly infected by your Pow, which you can only increase with permanent stat potions which will soon be available in quests.

Stat potions and rings or items that increase it.

Even with 30 power I doubt anyone can get 500 grace.

I did some thinking yesterday.

I currently have 57 grace max (19 power). To get to 150 (which at the time I thought was for medium) or rather, really, 75, I'd need 18 grace. Two grace per level, that's 9 levels. Which means I would have to get to level 21 before I could even dream of getting medium - however, looks like I was wrong.

So let me recalculate.

I would need 150 grace, base. That's a requirement of 93 grace to get to. Two per level, that's 47 levels needed. So ..

12 + 47 = 59.

To get MEDIUM I'd need to get to level 59 in wisdom.

I will continue dreaming.

Uhm... if anyone is good enough to get 500 grace... then they won't need artifacts to own the rest of graal... Not to mention the time it'd take even if an account would be killing the highest-exp-creatures 24/7 that'd take months... without RP, that is.

Level 20 may seem like so much now, and even level 40 seems like a crazy amount, but when more monsters, who give even MORE exp are released, you'll all be like "pfft, yeah, so hard" also, remember wis +2 rings? or pow+2 rings? if you have wis and pow at 20 each, you'll have a lot of grace...lemme check exactly how much at level 12 wisdom...

At level 12 wisdom, with 20 pow and 20 wis, along with either 2 pow +2 or 2 wis +2 rings, then you have 68 grace! heck, add in 10 grace gains you can gain if you use 30 improvement potions (the max you can use, I think) then you have 78 (!!!) grace, and that's just level wis 12, k?

I have so many questions... I guess my first one is, when I get the message "You feel like someone is helping you" what does that mean? I didn't notice any differences but then, I didn't know what to look for either.

Not really, just for a chance to get the stuff - and I still think, even with higher-exp-monsters, that it'll take quite long just to level up (and make money for the posions) that there won't be much time for RP.

In my experience that means your god has turned to accept your prayers - look out for raised resistances or something...

No, if you were wearing a cursed item, and you get that message, that means your god uncursed you. And the reason why I say you are asking for the world to be placed at your feet because you want to be able to get everything without doing much for it nor waiting till you get stronger.
