New Commands!

1 Attachment(s)
Well, i made a new Commands.rtf file containing most of the new commands, i had to zip it because this forum isn't compitable with .rtf files ;) Just replace this in your graal folder, it also contains all old commands so don't worry :)

VeX_RaT_Boy 04-23-2003 11:11 PM

very nice! Great job!

Pokilty 04-24-2003 02:56 AM

i think you missed a few commands but it's still better than the old one ;)

HoudiniMan 04-24-2003 09:57 AM

Im sure if we tell him what he forgot he'll add em to his "master" file ;)

GoZelda 04-24-2003 10:59 AM

Mmm yeah i skipped a few, two i didn't understand and two others were for G2k2 so i skipped them on purpose...
But this can be very handy especially for people who don't know about showtext what is a requirement now, and the mousebutton thingys also are usefull to be added in it, don't you think so? This will help a lot of newbies, and i learned from it too ;)

Dach 04-24-2003 06:53 PM

Does it have npc server commands and the such? Because i've kept mine up to date besides those.

HoudiniMan 04-25-2003 01:53 AM

Like what?...

Showtext is a requirement? I've been using showimg @ and it works fine for me ...

HoudiniMan 04-25-2003 09:25 AM

I seem to recall once seeing something about not supposed to be using the showimg @@@ method anymore... I could be mistaken

osrs 04-25-2003 07:37 PM

Nice.. :)

Stefan told that all servers etc. should change to showtext.
Anyway, i updated it with anistep, setfocus, setcursor and some more :)

HoudiniMan 04-27-2003 09:43 PM

Ooooooh

GoZelda 04-27-2003 11:07 PM

Heh... Sad i didn't made this earlier, because there's this new version coming soon, hopefully and probably containing all new commands.

Umm... What do I do with the commands document? Do I replace it or something? I never got anything from the boards that updates it.

Pokilty 04-28-2003 03:32 AM

Theres a commands.rtf in your graal2001 folder, that's the right side bar of commands you see when you're scripting. If you replace it with his version, the commands on the right of your screen will be updated.

Knuckles 04-29-2003 02:26 PM

2002... lol

GoZelda 04-29-2003 08:08 PM

Yes, but a few commands aren't listed in any of the newfeatures nor in the old commands file, like setcursor.

Agreed Stefan should take some time before a new version and edit the newfeatures and put all the new COMMANDS. That probaly would be better...

GoZelda 05-02-2003 04:39 PM

Now we only need the NPCserver commands...

I don't know how they work, don't look at me!

GoZelda 07-05-2003 05:34 PM

I don't know anything about serverside scripting... I hope to learn it soon, though. And i'm bumping this thread for people.

NeoJenova 07-05-2003 06:11 PM

Great Job GoZelda, We needed an updated commands list. Thanks.

craig17 07-16-2003 04:34 AM

I thought all the scipting will soon be changed or alot will be added or somethign along the lines and yes serverside commands would be really nice any one know alot of them they could share with some of us?

Dach 07-16-2003 08:04 PM

#D

you should probably say that wraped text is accessed through tokens, and if anyone still cares add the tiletypes for setshape

Tiletype / tile index (use with setshape)
nonblock 0
hurt underground 2
chair 3
bed upper 4
bed lower 5
swamp 6
lava swamp 7
near water 8
water 11
lava 12
throw-through 20
jump stone 21
blocking 22

Skyld 07-24-2003 03:39 PM
