Hacker

Don't know who, but I just tried to get on Era and I found out on April 4th someone hacked onto my account. My good friend, Dell, caught him. I also realized I was banned on some other servers too... Not a good sign... I don't know what to do..

One more problem, the old e-mail adress I used to create this is either shut down or I lost the password to it.. I got a new one and that's why I said I don't know what to do.

He didn't deny that he downloaded/used a trainer when someone else said that was how he got his account stolen, making this not a 'misfortune' but rather an inevidable problem.

Yes I did also laughed at the fact he avoided the part about the trainer!

someweirdperson 04-16-2003 07:39 PM

Hmm.. This sucks, it'll take a while to change the password through e-mail because I have a new adress and stuff... So sorry if you see my account doing anything wrong, ban him if you're an admin, but I'll have it back soon..

its a misfortune to lose anything that belongs to you. and the fact that used a trainer makes me want to point and laugh.

Jeff 04-16-2003 10:32 PM

Whoever said he used a trainer?

There are many other ways to be trojan-horsed, gypped, or keyboard-filched (and a Telnet/SSH breakin will be added to the list when Linux Graal is out, if people don't tend to use passwords and proper security).

MKSLAYER 04-17-2003 02:22 AM

I never really said he did use a trainer, wierdos. I merely stated that if he did (which he never denied) that it was his own fault his account was stolen.

Neoreno 04-17-2003 11:10 PM

Lack of denial does not necessarily mean a confession. But using trainers is wrong .

Redwizard 04-18-2003 12:37 AM

Yeah, more proof taht u dun have to use trainers to get ur account hacked. My account was banned cos sum1 hacked it, GLOBALLY, and i have never used trainers, So i also think you should stop assuming things. Really, i think you forgotabout the lil things that get travelled to other ppls computers called Viruses and trojans. And back doors are another thing too. Really, Trainer is only 1 outta like a bajillion different ways
