Idea for Events
 

I made finally a plan for real rp events, and i wanted to ask you what do you think about it.
There should be one Event in 2 Weeks.
It should be on its own Gmap and it should be planned carefully.
So if you want to take part you are warped on this island and can participe in the Event.
The Story should be hard for everyone, but not easier for guys with a higher level.
The price will be like a event sword, but it will only look different and will have no other effects (for example a golden shovel).
What do you think about this idea?
Please dont just say it sux, say why you think its not good, and what could be made better.

Just make it a quest rather than an event.

This will kinda be like a Quest but only 1 person can win it o.o!

If it was something like a cool lookin' axe then maybe... but then again it's just a gfx skin so there realy isn't any reason to do the event unless you get something better then everyone else.

Why a item with a different color with same function.
i dont care if the shovel is brown yellow or pink

Not a bad idea, but I think it should be weapons, not tools.

So we should get regular items with only a different look, but you get all the awesome stuff just for barely doing your job?

It should be something rpish, not just a potion.

A potion is RPish...like, "the great Alchemist, Zion Zlat, has just created a potion that will give its drinker increased strength, PERMANENTLY!"

The price would be too good.

On another note:
Potion Of Improvement
Use: Improves HP, Mana and GP respectively per use.
Cost: Approximately 650 plat.

The items should have atleast ONE special attribute =/ Example: Golden Shovel increases the chance of you digging up seeds instead of worms by 25%

Oh and errm...if the prizes are gonna just be recolords anyway you should hold events more often -_-

Let's see...52 weeks in a year, one event every two weeks = 21 events. We're already in April.... -6 weeks = 15 events. I'm also sure you won't be on time for all but I'm gonna leave it at 15...

You people complaining about items that have no actual use... think about it. This is just a game. A war axe +500 would not give you a real advantage, but just make the game more boring for you.

People playing Ultima Online, on the other hand, pay lots of real money to buy items which have absolutely no function in game, which just have a different graphic, or even just another spelling than another similar item.
