Osrs attempted to provide a script I have identified as the work of Amon-Ra (pong with two pairs of opposing paddles, annotated in Portuguese, and identified with the help of the manager of Gaia) as a newmain staff application. He made a "you will see" threat after being fired, so I'd suggest you all to keep your heads up for him submitting any newmain scripts for jobs. I'd suggest you not hire him to fill any development positions.


Repeat: Osrs (account osrs) is apparently a script plagiarist.

Why would you even think of stealing someone elses work? If you aren't good enough to be hired, then why try out?

He was probally stealing other people's scripts then. If he was good he woudn't have to steal other people's work.

Forgive and forget? This guy is a complete nutcase. Truly. On EVERY server I've seen him work on, he's going corrupt, never working, stealing scripts and stuff for "his" work, and doing everything a good staff SHOULDN'T do. I've had it with this guy. People, this is coming from ME. I'm the "Honest Abe", you could put it as. Believe me. DON'T hire this guy.

I agree. Don't you think it's enough that this thread was made? No managers can trust him now...I think that's a good enough punishment for him. He probably won't get a job again unless he changes his account and name.

I just sent a script not made by me,because as always,nobody give me a chance to work.

I fired him from graal2001 quite a while ago because I recognized his lack of scripting ability. He made horrible level NPCs that used if commands (that would only execute once), then when I pointed this out he 'fixed' it by adding a 0.1 second timeout to it, which still didn't fix it. Besides, it being the type of NPC it was, that was the complete wrong way to go about doing it.

You know, I agree with you, Houdiniman. As a small side note, Jeff was the one who hired him back, and didn't even bother checking the script to see where it came from until I, myself, asked why the hell osrs was working at 2k1 again, and explained his past history and inability to script.

Leave the poor guy alone. He was mature and decent enough to admit his wrong doings, which I'm sure you all have plenty of, so leave him be.

Like Lyndzey said, the exposure that he tried to pull one on newmain and almost succeeded, along with the multiple confessions he has so kindly provided in this thread, should be enough punishment.

Grr, does anyone listen to what I said? He does these "confessions" every time he gets fired for the SAME reason. He'll never learn his lesson, as on every server I see him work on, he gets fired for some corruptivity or stealing reason. Okay? Stop acting like this is the first time he did this.

Admitting it is good yes, but that doesn't change the fact credibility and trustworthiness are very hard to come by. And even harder to repair.

You don't have to believe him, but if he wants to be hired in the future give him a chance to (or make him) prove his skill. I've had NAT applications and i ask for their 3 best scripts and people write to me all the time that fill out the trivial questions that mean nothing and then saying "i'd show you but i don't want you to steal it" or something of that caliber. They don't get that words are cheap and you have to prove you're good enough. If you want the job you have to take the risk of sending your work in...

I just wanted to be hired and show my skills,but my scripts wouldn't get me hired.so thats my big mistake.

But no,i'm not a scripter thief,i get nc on newmain for like 10 minuts,and i dint get any script,i added one,you can check:

And if you made ALL of the scripts for all of those servers, then, what did you do, go into the NPC server and add '// Made by osrs'? :\ Either be really good at lying or not lie at all. Either way, I hate it when people lie to make themselves look good.

Skills? I never saw you script anything on newmain. All you did was add minerals to yourself and other corrupt things, and I got quite the amount of complaints about you. And I never saw that NPC.

Osrs you worked on Frolic only for a week if even that. You were there for a few days until Nemesis fired everyone and it seems its only Knuckles, Cyb, and Draggon working there now.
I have one npc you made that is questionable. The playerlist you showed I don't know, cause I've never seen it before.

I asked you to make a SIMPLE quest puzzle NPC. You failed to do so. Why should I have given you NC, if you can't even make a BASIC NPC?

I never worked on Maloria, it sounds like a disease. I never played Maloria either. And I despise CyberX, so whatever crackhead. o.O

I posted on the managers forum about him once, and even showed a quote from alex when he was manager of babylon :(
