Couple of Suggestions
These are just a couple of my suggestions, I have a few more but these I would like to address at the moment.
First of all, what is the point of the whole crafting sword process, I mean honestly, all swords require so little to be made that no one will make the worst one and keep advancing upward. This could easily be fixed by making the swords require more the stronger up they get. IE: The regular weak sword requires just 2 iron blades 2 gold and 1 iron to craft. Bun instead of making the next sword up require just 1 more measley gold or something, make it require like 10 more of each item or something. Till eventually you reach diamond blade that requires like 25 diamonds, 100 steel blades, and 50 gold nuggets. Yeah sure it doesn't make sense why that much would be needed, but at least it sets the weapons up in some sort of achieving order. Another thing, monsters. All they do is drop the same things over and over at a common rate, excluding T-Rexes. Come on thats very boring and pointless. You need to start making monsters drop equipment at a very rare occurence. Like theres a .1% chance that a evildievil will drop a talisman of fire or something like that. Or have some monster drop War Axes at an extremely rare occurence. Theres plenty of things that could be dropped, Cyclops and Demons could drop magic cloaks. Seriously. Of course we'd need some more monsters for this. |
Shrimp, I so agree with you, weapons, item dropping, everything...though I think some things need to be changed, I'm level 21, and have slain thousands of Rexes, and never EVER have I gotten a single gem of exceptional beauty...though there are some people 10 levels lower than me who've gotten like...20 or 30 of them.

Then change those into a very rare item drop by dievils

Good ideas shrimp. I agree 100%. 100 iron little much though but i get the idea.

I'd rather see there be more point to weak-swords than an intermediate - like short swords move at dagger-speed - but that's not really likely, so yeah, raise the expense.

My concern is that if drops become better, once again the best hunters will benefit - newbies who make bread and hunt shell bomies with spears and mine for a living will be unable to get anything cool out of it...

The newer players will mine and stuff, and have items that will be in high demand! like iron, diamonds, etc, that would be needed for stronger weapons. Maybe there could be a level limit on weapons? like, you need to be level 5 to use a naginata, 7 for a diamond blade, 8 for a flaming sword, etc, etc. (just suggesting.) |

It's a good idea, provided newbies do, in fact, get a niche. If I didn't say anything then we'd just have iguanadons dropping mithril and nothing'd change.

No...I think it is terrible. There needs something to equalize this. What if you don't want to go around killing things? Argh...
Well, thats why I just got a good idea....woah and I just realized Stefan already had the idea before I gave it to him....so yes, this is a good idea and should be implemented AFTER the other idea. |
