throw the king down i've been rampaging this on DeBug for ever im wicked friggen pissed off at samurai right now (i am one). dude this is getting out of hand make rahz shogun again. i have some more dirt on joe too :\ . you know when there was that create bomb glitch so people died when you r/c'ed. well he killed me about 2 times when i was trying to buy somthing. he backs up by saying "I didnt mean too!". later i observerd him doing the same thing to numerous people. also we need to get RP this is so out of hand ok lets see. ME SAMURAI ME MEAT HEAD! ME GO ACT LIKE A DUMB ASS AND KILL PEOPLE. ME GOT LAID LAST NIGHT. SOLUTION:

Make it so that leader positions (Shogun, King, Head-Pirate-Guy, whatever) require SACRIFICES. Ideally, make it so that any King loses all ability to fight or gain items and becomes a character purely for roleplaying. Then we don't get idiots like Boukon or this Joe guy applying - they're too attached to their phat items.

correct me if im wrong but, didnt kings lead the army to battle, didnt they always have all the good swords and were usually VERY strong?

Not really, that's just what Hollywood would have you believe. Most of them were fat and/or old.

leave me the *&@##@ alone, ask anyone in samurai they are 95% satisfied with me. just because you walked up on a personal conversation i was having doesnt give you the right to put someone else as shogun... im not going to talk to my friends with ((paranthesis)) around each sentence, and im not gonna make anyone else do it. its time consuming and pointless. if an event is on samurai knows to talk in character and OOC in pm's. most of the time we are lvling, going on treasure maps, etc. we roleplay treasure hunters/traders/hunters. and also kaimetsu i dont have any "phat" items. everything i have is normal items on the server.

how about i get debug chat to :) not fair that stefan is only hearing one power crazy person's side of the story.

Don't worry, hollywood has some of us believing the fat/old part also :-) . I would think the kings would be wise, in this order: Zormite, Forest, Dustari, and Samurai. And I would think they would be physically powerfull in this order: Samurai, Dustari, Forest, and Zormite. Aren't samurais supposed to be the fighters FOR a kingdom? So if the whole kingdom is samurai, I would think the leader would be powerfull, but still not an idiot going around PKing people (even if he is at the bottom of the intelligence food chain -_- ). More than anything, I would think they would have the best armor and weapons on the battlefield, and also be in the safest place of it too. It doesn't necessarily mean they'd be the best at using it though (so that would be a low-leveled character with a weapon blessed to a god with at least +3 on it, and maybe even IWD'ed...) Some funny/interesting parts of RPing could have been built up with people who had rare weapons, if they would have lead a kingdom and been better RPers, it could be like their signature weapons, everyone would know them for it (Like DragonX's black axe, Bouken guy's hammer thingy...)...

All of the kings should be wise. And while it's true that some of the kingdoms might, in reality, use an election system based on physical strength, realism isn't the only factor we need to consider. Realism is just a tool, dude, not an objective.

The sad truth is that idiots are being elected simply because they are powerful. In their place we need level-headed, balanced people who're not afraid to bar somebody entry because they can't RP. People who obsess about gaining powerful items will also obsess about improving the strength of their kingdom, and that doesn't lead to a good RPing environment. Roleplaying on Kingdoms should not always be about fighting. The kings should not necessarily always fight to win - running a kingdom is as much about making the game fun for your opponent as for your own team - but the current rulers don't realise this.

Then go off tag. When you are wearing your tag, you are the Shogun. The Shogun should not be bragging about 'getting laid'.

Oh well. I still think you wouldn't apply for Shogun if it meant giving up all your physical power.

My Inferno Sword, and Alex's Inferno Sword ;) We're focal points in our kingdoms (I should hope :o) and our weapons make us distinct :)

Well, just one, when he went around using the name "Gaadian *MKSLAYER" x.x;; that isn't exactly an RPing name. But that's a simple problem to solve, other than that he appears a rational and reasonable person.

This new Samurai emperor needs to go.

On that side topic, I have my Orc Shield, that helps to set me apart visually.

Zormite has a level-headed leader, and so does Dustari and CP in my opinion. Dont bag on all the kingdom kings :(

I used to be the only person with the black Ninja outfit...*sigh* then it got released. No special identification for Zen.

I've had the ninja outfit forever now and people saw me with it and begged Stefan to release it :\ The ninja outfit symbolizes me and I will never change it because I love it, I wish it didn't get released lol

Yes, if you can't go by common RPing rules, you shouldn't even be in a kingdom. So many people talk OOC all the time, or just PK and don't RP, and many just give the reason "Well, noone else is doing it, so I won't be only one RPing". Shouldn't we be trying to fix problems, not make them worse or give up on a situation?

Your character, is not YOU, it is who you are PRETENDING to be on a GAME.

Just to clear something up, Samurai leaders were warriors and present in battle. So they would be powerful. Also Samurai leaders were also very wise (although as in every real kingdom, there were ones who were dumb and just puppts lol)

Now a king, should just be chosen better, not to say boukon was...well not to say he wa..well im not saying he wasnt a good king... errr ehem* (hi boukon =P) however choosing a king (this has nothign to do with you boukon) should be done better than..when i chose..boukon ..errr which is where that flaw lies.

I should take the blame but at the time i didnt care, i was bored of graal (and all other aspects of life) and just wanted to get being shogun offf my chest for a while (or forever at the time) heh
so i had them fight and the winner goot to be king =P , and you can imagine, the most power gaming people would have won that tournament and not the best role players, hence, boukon becameeee king =P (not that boukon is a bad role player =P)
