Era Reset
 

Why am I posting this here and not on the playerworld forum?

Because we need Stefan and I know he reads this one, due to hackers and bug abuse economy on Era got screwed so we are doing a full playerworld reset.....however script resets are..messy so we want Stefan to come on and reset for us. But he doesnt get our Messages on the forums and we cant find him anywhere.

Last time when we started kicking all our players to 2001 it got his attention and he came on, so we have tryed that again. But just incase that doesn't get his attention I thought I would post here to and ask if anyone has "special" ways of contacting him....Messengers, Phone, Walking around and knocking on his front door. Anything could you please tell him we need him on Era ;) thx

Could you just easily check for a system NPC everybody must have then check if it has that and sendtonc /reset #a. And of course renames the system NPC to something different, It wouldnt cause much problems and you wouldn't need Stefan.

Tha wouldnt be messy as everybody would definatly have it, unlike some reset scripts where they check for a flag.

Errr yes it would be messy, scripting it is easy the problem comes with npc server constantly sending messages to RC

(npcserver) reset attributes of player ######

We would have that everytime someone who had played before came on....plus everytime an old player connected they would be disconnected while npc server reset them.

While if we get Stefan to do it...last time he just, did it and said "done". No messages to RC no disconnecting players when they come on.

Zorg, it's worth that than waiting for Stefan.

Why do people keep trying to tell me how to script....its not the scripting I need help with, we are more than capable of scripting a reset system but we would rather try for Stefan first.

If he wants Stefan let him have Stefan. It would be slightly better as they'd have to keep the reset script in there all the time else. Its better this way.

Stefan's on forums now, do something about it.

Because someone moved it out of main, else I'd say he would have seen it by now.

Yeah Stefan was in the main forum just looking around, if you wanna point the finger, I suggest doing it at Kaimetsu. Btw has he gone to Era yet?

Nope....Era is autokicking to 2001 and will continue to until he gets on :( so u will know because our playercount will increase
