Well is it a rule that if you are banned from a server you will be banned even if you havnt done anything on an other acount....

Yes.

If you do something and are jailed/banned for it. Then immediatly log on with another account that account will also be jailed/banned.

By logging on to another account you are getting around/avoiding your ban or jail time. Another word for getting around or avoiding something is evading. Hence the name Ban Evasion.

Look at it this way, your account, IP, or character wasn't the one who did something bad, and thus was banned, no, you where banned, and it's you that is coming on with another account. It's like shooting someone, getting a new gun, and saying you should be let out of jail cause you arn't using the old gun anymore.

Yes, this is true. To solve this (If they have a cable modem or such) just place their ip address in the ipbanned.txt which is in the levels folder.

Note: All servers that give out rw levels should make it:
rw levels/*.graal
rw levels/*.nw

This way it will prevent such things like people adding *.*.*.* to the file like what happened on Enigma.

I was speaking to Nemesis about this a few days ago, don't know if it applies to this, but if you're globally banned, (well by Nemesis atleast) if you buy another account (or something along the lines of this) and you have shown that you haven't, or won't ever do what you did to get globalled, you will be unbanned -_-

mmmm...no they take a no mercy way to this..if your gonna be unbanned they will unban your other account without u having to get on another account and saying *unban this account because i wont do it anymore and stuff*

I've been jailed a few times and came back on other accounts. I never got jailed on other accounts after being jailed and coming back because nobody knew they were mine and I didn't continue to do what I did in the first place to get myself jailed previously.

I see lots of others do it as well. The ones that persist to look for trouble are the ones that usually end up with all of their accounts jailed or banned.

well thats considerd ban evasion

I usually got jailed because I would pk with others and sometimes staff would just stop pking and then put their tag on without even pausing, and then I would hit them accidently right when they put it on. Next thing I know I would get an admin message saying that if I ever try to pk staff again I would be jailed. So with that being done, I would switch to a trial account and then I gave them a reason to jail me. Either cursing them or finishing the job by killing them. Then boom I'm jailed on the trial and back on my old account just with another name. :p
