I made this thread for anyone who wants to ask me help for stuff. I got board =p. So just post up if ya need scripting help or anything else Graal related.

Should be closed. If people want help, they can post a thread, and you can reply to it.

This whole forums is for help, rather than making a thread for people to come to you... You could just help everybody who makes their own thread asking

Why would someone come to an unknown scripter for help?

Trying to make a name for himself? That's laughable.

Easier way would just to post some of your scripts and amaze some people, they'll swarm to you then and then, you wish you hadn't posted any of the scripts to begin with.

I have this GUI I'm making, and I want a vertical bar that I want to be displayed from the bottom up. The bar is 5x50 pixels. How would I get it to work correctly?

Maybe you all haven't seen it, but some people don't like to publish their work to everyone. Sure this thread may not be the right attempt at whatever he was trying to accomplish, but hey.

I didn't know people actually challenged other people with their scripting skills. Seems rather stupid to me :\

I've heard of Pokilty and have seen some of his work that has leaked out. I haven't seen anything he made that really impresses me like what I've seen from others that post here.

It just seems pointless for two individuals to have a competition to see who is better. I don't see really how you could conduct a fair match. Everyone has their own weaknesses and strong points. For example: I can script just about anything as long as it doesn't have much to do with math. Math would hence be my weakness.

Hmmm, I guess some people would like to have competitions. But, I wouldn't ever take part in one.

People will compete over anything these days, it's bred into us :)

Cause all my work i have done is on servers. I dont just make Graal scripts........ i make whats needed.....i spend my time doing my job(computer service repair and networking) and C++ programing.

Then tell us where to see it?

Bravo(i went from NPC Team to Lead Developer in 2 weeks, Now I am Admin there),Enigma(some stuff like the /lay system just like g2k2's and like player houses where you can build your own house, and little stuff here and there),Sanstrata(not up anymore but my Graal Home), tons of people that I have just helped along and offline servers i have helped a lot as well.(Next thing you people are gonna tell me is you never heard of prozac or robin maybe next your gonna tell me you haven heard of Stefan *****)

Are you trying to brag? Most people here try to avoid that. It is better to show us, not brag.

What Kai said is true, that script is too old and primative. As for not seeing much of my work, is because I don't post much of my work.

We don't look kindly on bragging here... mostly because we disprove it and people grow frustrated with themselves...:\

instead of making all these challenge posts, how bout someone makes a thread and make a challenge, have a certain npc to make, get some judge that everyone can agree on, personally if we were to have this I would put my vote on kai for judge, I don't really think he needs to proove how good he is once again

Mayb, a stickied thread by Kai, like script of the month or something. Maybe every two weeks. That would be fun I guess!
