How long does VIP take to go active? I just paid for the vip upgrade about 5 minutes ago =) Just wondering as my gold when i got it went instantly.


Also what kind of benefits do VIP's get currently?

On graal you can access 2 new servers, well, Graal Kingdoms debug, and Graal2002 in French.

It doesn't matter, there are no VIP features yet.
People that paid back in December are getting nothing more then your regular old Joe who has gold.

I don't remeber...

But the longer it takes the more time your saving :)

Well =) i already paid so to late for me.... but i am sure unixmad and stefan will make it worth while to upgrade to VIP and hopefully they will add my vip soon =)

It should have added 365 days of extra forum access to you as well. But I wouldn't be surprised if it just set it to 365 days.

Yeah probably wipes the time you have on the forums and sets it to 365, how nice.

Pretty sure it tacks it on to the end, or at least they claim it does.

I've heard you can only upgrade for a year account once, and that you have to wait until that almost runs out until you upgrade again to get the additional time.

Heh, VIP is a real advatage to a classic player like me. My 3 months of gold will be running out in less than a week, but I'll still be able to continue to post on the forums, and be able to create/support a guild should I so desire, features that would normally cost me $40 a year to get, but instead I only pay $20, and get some extra features.

Of course I also lucked out that I got VIP before Feb1st, and I'll still continue to get full access to Gold Servers :P (not like I'll play the much.. but still :P)

I had three years and three months when I started. I only got a little under 2 years now.

And, thank you Jagen. Whoever this Devil guy is I hope he goes away. He is a complete pompus ass jerk.

Look, I am really not trying to be mean or anything, but you get nothing. Chances are, your access is already added. There is no special development forum, there is no Graal 3D or special server access just yet, the only thing you get is a tag which probably does not work because of the current status of the guildCP. Just telling you, please don't take this harshly or anything. There is nothing at the moment.

The VIP guild tag works just fine.... I kinda think VIP is more for classic players who want normal gold features.. without the price.. plus get bonus stuff.. in less then two weeks I'm going to be very glad that I have VIP access :P

I should be saying the same to you, but whatever, think what you want.

Yeah you got nothing, thats why I've been waiting until they actually put something up so that I can get something for my money, they really shouldn't of released VIP yet.

Most of you people are forgetting one of its main purposes o.O

Gold > VIP > Classic

VIP is more of an "in between" than anything else. One of its main purposes was to give Classic account people some of the Gold things, but without the gold servers (except on saturdays). It's great for classic people who want to be on the forums, create/join guilds, etc.
