A) Who on earth thought of the prices for items? A pen (You know, the simple little tool you write with) is 500 platinum coins!!
While Gold Chain Mail gets sold for a couple gold pieces. The gold in the mail is probably more than the pieces alone!!!!!
The system is completely insane and I ask that someone please go over them and make them logical.

B) Why did a potato monster drop an onion? I mean, come on.

C) Is there a cane sword anywhere on the server? A sword that looks like a thin cane or walking stick, and upon attacking with it, the sword part is unsheathed. I ask because I'd like to roleplay a blind swordfighter (NOT DAREDEVIL, ZATOICHI. EARN YOURSELF SOME JAPANESE CINEMA)

D) Are there any admins/GPs for the server besides Stefan and Unix?

A) Cuz people don't know how to make pens so they sell for a lot (flimsy excuse, but eh...)
B) It got confused and thought it was a battle onion, I mean, it's a vegetable, they have no brains and tend to get confused easily :D
C) Unfortunately, no :( though it'd be a really neat idea :)
D) Well, there are other Admin I guess, but like Global Admin, and stuff...but no GPs...

how hard can a pen be? can I just kill a bird, get a feather, and get some ink? :| pens should never be that expensive, this is pretty dumb

Trueheat, you missed a lot so I'll summarize:

Graal Kingdoms was supposed to be a role-playing server, and people treated it as such until these things called dungheons came out. People got incredibly strong and demanded more stronger monsters. So they got them, and now those are easy and now they need stronger monsters to fight. The stronger the monster you fight, the better items they drop. Some of these monsters drop a bunch of body parts which can be sold for like 100 plat at the stores.

This server is no longer about role-playing anymore, it's all about gaining items to get stronger.

I suppose that's why I have 90000 PMs saying "WILL SELL MAGIC RING 4XP 3+ 9 STRENGTH"

That's not the worst of it
You'll see these guys walking around with about 4.5 speed because they've got like super duper resistances and they spend hours and hours praying over an altar by button mashing to enchant weapons that are cursed and deal about 55 damage in one blow. Then they use Improve weapon damage scrolls to make it even more lethal, add electricity, fire, poison damage so you're literally obliviated on contact. They'll yell things like "omg I have a ruggili chain mail of doom +55 death powrerz ssj rings of war is 1337 I have a +_45 con damage.

These folks are level 18, 19, 20. How the hell are you supposed to role-play with them?

The English language doesn't even have half the words I need to express the.. ugh... blech.... :( :\ Guh... I'm feeling right now.

You had to deal with the harsh reality of the suckiness of 2k2 all at once. That has to hurt.

I liked the first beta of Graal2002 better.

I started basically like you did, but I slowly got stronger cuz of connections with ither people and such. I'm still not really as strong as the rest, but I'm getting there.

i agree 2k2 does kinda suck now that is has the same kind of game play as ragnrok, and i agree with james, beta was better ^_^
