GraalForge

I have finnaly decided to realese GraalForge.

"GraalForge is a site dedicated to facilitating the creation, sharing and distribution of content of all types used in GraalOnline."

I hope you all like what I have done with it. Sign up for a (free) account and click on Content to view other people's submited content. You can also submit your own.

It is community ran. People put up their content. Get it graded by others. And they can learn.

So? Is this a site people goto to learn, or to take other peoples graphics, ganis, code, levels. and rate them to show thier appreciation for the free work.

You really should allow only examples of work that coinside with a tutorial showing how it was made, techniques and such.

Also, for your tutorial examples. You need to make it so they can use "<" and ">" without messing it all up.

Have you ever heard of SourceForge or Planet-Source-Code? I want to run a site like that for the Graal Developing Comunity.

Everything that is put up is first checked by me or another staff on GraalForge. So don't worry about what is put up.

Should I offer FTP space so users don't have to link to have their files in the content section?
You should go to the link, download and put it on the site your self (With Their Permission) or ask them to e-mail it you, dont offer people FTP.

And nice layout, although some of the top GREENS are not very nice.

So you indicating you want everything on the site to be open source and public property?

currently just looks like a phpnuke portal.... if you need someone to design you a system like sourceforge's i could donate some spare time and write up a basic system in PHP/MySQL.

Spark910 02-22-2003 09:14 PM
