Post where/how your odd RP names were developed lol, this should be good.


Mine WAS Bit, as in like a measurment, but when somone named Zechs on a server called Providence f found out Bit was my name, he made fun of it and called it "Bitty" and it just stuck XD ((He was my best friend though =o))

Se'bastion' is a good name, and Aquataine sounds like water (Zormite) and I'm in the navy, so there ya go.

Dallion was just random and Fernendaz is a spanish name. Discharge used it as his last name, and he and I are RP brothers, so I use that. :O

Shanon -> Shawn

Kelfonne started as the letter K.

So it was just Shawn K.

But I didn't like that, so I just randomly let sounds flow and came up with Kelfonne.

(Which as a point of note, is not pronounced like "KELL -Phone" but rather "Kell - FAHN " )

Well, after Dustari pretty much went to heck in back in December of '01 with Kamuii's tag wipe, I created a whole new character for our reintroduction of January '02 as a Sharpshooter. Well, I was thinking, and I was watching a Star Trek episode where Captain Harris of the Lexington gets blown to bits with his ship and crew, so I had Harris in my mind. Then I started thinking of names with L. I thought of Larry, then I took the y and added ie and put an n and got Larrien. Then I said, "Hey, Larrien.. Harris?" and ka-ching.

But I've changed last names over a while; I was Harris, Arcanus, Amelyn.

Mines kinda embarassing lol. I remember when I was really small how cool it would be if my name was Zack because I used to watch Saved By the Bell ((LONG TIME AGO--like before it was just reruns)). I went to Tennessee for a few years and my best friend's name was Zeno Franklin Davis. He just went by his middle name...but I never understood why because his first name ROX!

Anyways I later found out about an ancient oriental following about Zen Buddahism or so. I remember reading that shoguns would practice this form of meditation or so before battles to help insure a victory in the comming war.

When I first started graal, I ran around as Zeno on classic, then I just dropped the O to go with the cool warlord's religion. Zen has been my universal online handle for the past 3 years or so.

Archigos I came up with because I needed a good last name for my RP character when GraalKingdoms started up. Archigos has greek roots, it seems like alot of good names are related to the greek language somehow to me. If you guys can figure out what it means I'll give you a cookie!!~~ even though it sounds kinda corney translated to english lol.

Anyways, thats how the great Zen Archigos of Zormite came about :)

Well, I was reading a really good book (actually a series of 10 or so books.) And one of the characters was Morrolan e'Drien, this really cool, Dragonlord guy (Dragonlord cuz of the House that he's in, he is not an actual dragon. 'Houses' are part of a social systm in the world.) Anyway, Morrolan lives in a giant castle, that floats in the sky through sorcery. He has a kick-ass sword called Blackwand, which if it even penetrates your skin, it kills you and sucks away your soul, so you can never be reborn (He killed 1000 people with it at a certain battle :p). Also, he's a master with the sword, and a master of sorcery and witchcraft (think alchemy, where you do chanting and use certain runes, etc, to cast the spell.) Anyway, he's just that powerful, so that's why I chose him.

Before I came to GK, I used to play GBM etc, and I RPed as Vlad Taltos, a character from those books, the main character, he's an assassin, and he basically never screws up, and he has this raven/dragon familiar, which helps him out all the time. :p

Loriel Victrix.
Loriel is pretty obvious, I just made it up and have been using that name since I was born to the internet in around autumn '99 to a Disney's Gargoyles Chat thing :p
Victrix is the name of a Graalian "family" which mainly consists of German players, as far as I know, although many of them have left Graal some time ago.

My latest name on Kingdoms is "Zalinto Qin Li" zalinto is the house im from and Qin Li i got from the Qin Dynasty in China. Emporer Qin was the first and 2nd to last ruler and his adviser was Li Si take the to first names put em togehter wow that sounds good. Way back when when i first started playing long time ago i was known as White Death. chose this name because i was a big PK'er that always had a "White Death" head on with body12 or 11 that was white with gray. that sum's it up i think

I started out with the name raith which originated from a false preview of breath of fire 3 and the reviewer said the main guys name would be raith however it ended up being ryu like all the other ones -_- but I kept it and then I forgot my pw to my internet address and it had lik eover 1000 spam letters so then I met a girl whos name was Makato I think from sailor moon or something and I was like hmm Kinato! well then I kept that until about um.. g2k2 cuz I made an account named Kinato and I forgot Password again.. so I just replaced the last o with a t.. and I made my last name Sai cuz of the ninja turtles.. Rapheal uses those.. and raith at the time came to mind and I was like well rapheal and raith both have same first letters so what about rapheal would make a good last name.. so I went from redd to sai cuz redd just was ***.

Cyrin Cyrilin
 

Well, my name used to be, when i started, GoZelda, from Go! and Zelda, but later i thought i needed another name because GoZelda kinda sucked. I was playing Adventure cuz i was banned from 2k1 and 2k2 didn't excist yet. Well, i saw a house from someone named "Cyrix". And because i was reading LotR, i made a fusion of Cyrix and Aragorn, Cyrigorn. From the Cyr i made a lot of things, i.e. my first name Cyrin and my last name Cyrilin.

I make up all of mine. Don't come from anywhere.

Oryan Goldheart

Ryan is my name, and I'm not very good of making up names, so I just tacked on an O. Viola.

Goldheart just popped into my mind, one day out of the blue. Sounded nice and RPish, so it stuck.
