Well as I promised here is a snapshot of Sanstrata. Comments are welcome ;). Also this guy Tweaker is trying to make another san project asside from mine. He knows about mine too. I have Prozac and Sabin the ogrinal makers on sanstrata fully behind me + Kirby Shenlon and a bunch of others. So please pwa please ignor any attempt to bring sanstrata back by a guy of the name of Tweaker. The new bodys are still being worked on but I managed to finsh the grass and buildings hope you like =D.

House roof looks terrible, way too flat and dull.

I don't like your color choices at all. Other than that, pretty good.

I hate that house, kind of looks flat, and the rest is nothing special

The bricks seem familiar... the roof pattern I've seen about a dozen times on playerworlds now. I agree, the colors are a bit awkward.

The house doesn't look right for green grass areas. It would be better if it was in a snow area.

I think the bricks are fine. Ill work on the roof like you all said but what about the grass tiles do you like that?

{edit} Everyone sees colors different for all I know you could see white as pink and blue as green.... {edit}

Seems familar to me too, It is probally some direct rip from some texture in Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro.

Anyway hows this look?

Then you must see shades of ice blue in different colors then... because I've never seen an ice blue brick house, with an ice blue roof. You need to fix the colors man. The contrast of the grass and the contrast of the house are like completely opposite. Maybe if you saturated the house (in a paint program) or used gamma correction, it might darken it up a bit and make it fit better.

Can you use those houses in snow areas so we can see how they look in that envorionment. The current environment you have them in makes the house seem like it doesn't belong.

As for the grass. I think it looks fine.

The house in the 1st looks like a cubed igloo. And the grass to stone texture looks really bad.

I like it, compared to everything on graal exception of g2k2.. its the best.

I don't really like it. I don't know why. It's like a mix of strange looking tiles with a different mix of castle tiles...I don't know what I don't like about it, it's just something.

Well thank you. Once I finsh the new bodys which will take 12 frames per direction for walking, The new gui, The new q menu,
tons of weapons with different ganis, The Arcanian baddys, Arcanian hide out and more things that I dare not to post it will be the best. =D

Good improvemnts Don.
The tiles do look better in that more recent
snapshot, more like stone than ice.
Some kind of chimney in that theme would be good also perhaps.

Stick with normal tileset it would be ALOT better and if you know how, you can make a PW in normal tilset 100 times better than any of these ugly tilesets every PW seems to be making.

Ok all new levels, all new tile sets, all new bodies.. This is Sanstrata how? In my opinion since nothing about it is Sanstrata. Why not just call it for what it is? Not-Sanstrata

On the note of sanstrata I hope you have people with a little more competence so we dont have to hear about how it got hack every week. That got kind of old. Also with the bad Rep Sanstrata had going with that name is only going to hurt you in a long run.

On the note of tile sets wayyyy to bright. In my opinion darker is better. I hate levels that are bright and make you want to claw your eyes out.

They are not all new level's no one ever said that.. They are the old levels with a new tile set pluss with the same story line sans had but this time sans will stick so the story line... Also I dont give a **** about the bad rep Sanstrata had I love that server.

It doesnt matter if you care or not. every one else does. If I didnt read the forum's and logged on one day to see the name Sanstrata I would be like oh god they brought that crap back and go about my way with out thinking twice. (Note: I didnt mean I thought it was crap was just part of the example.) It wouldnt matter how leet everything was because I would never get passed the name due to a preconception that it is the same as before. Even now I'm slightly biast in the managment of it. Not due to anything on your part but more so the previous managment before it went down.

Thats your problem. People will check it out. They dont care about the name the players only care about the game play. If they like the game play and there are things for them to do I know they will come back.

Nah its not my problem. It doesnt effect me either way. You can dilude yourself into believing no one will care about the name. But the fact is the name will stop many people from even logging on to your playerworld. Of course people care about the name. If you see two servers one named classic and one named complete crap. Chances are if it was your first time on you would click on the classic. Then you have every one who remembers how crappy the managment was and stuff will think. Comple Crap is going to be the same crap so its not worth going on. This is of course all ssuming it gets past the previews. But if you dont care knock yourself out not hurting any one but yourselves. :)

I would actually look at "Complete Crap" to see if it is. And I'm going to check out Sansastra to see if it is.

If it has good management with tons of things to do people will play it. I dont care what you say. (if I build it they will play it)

To me the house looks like plastic canvas (to those who don't know it is a form of needle point). I don't like the level , it looks thrown together and everything is totally unrelated. Nothing blends with each other, just random images thrown on a canvas, sorry I am not trying to hurt your feelings it just looks that way to me.:(
