PKing + Gods

There need to be more deterrants to PKing. Idea:

Joe Scumbag is a PKer. He worships Bile. Stan Newbie also worships Bile. Joe kills Stan. Bile punishes Joe. If this is the first offence then Bile just stops giving Joe stats and divine help (restoration, item blessing) for a while. If it happens again within a short time then the punishment is more severe (exp loss, maybe).

Same applies when he kills the follower of a god allied to his god. I don't know how the alliances work so let's imagine that Bile is allied to Brigid. If Joe kills a Brigid follower then it is punished in the same way.

Maybe an exception could be made for Kingdoms battles, I dunno.

It wouldn't stop all PKing, but it'd help :)

I'm not too concerned about PKing, but yeah, being a jerk needs to be contained, particularly for priests and the otherwise honorable...roles are a joke on this server. Statbuilding, yeah, but not roleplaying....:(

I like this idea.

I don't like it x.x

Just imply the slaying option already. When someone worships your enemy God a weapon blessed by your God would have a slay <characterr type> atrribute, that attribute is any player that worships the enemy God.

Example: Aengus' enemy God = Ogma.
Ogma's weapon has slay faerie/dwarf there-fore Ogma's weapons will do more damage to Aengus worshippers.

But that's a completely separate system. It's not like it's a viable replacement for the one I proposed.

Make it so that the god can declare war on another god.

Like lets say six Ogma people kill twelve Dianchet people.

Dianchet would declare war on Ogma, and both parties would fight.

this would mean someone would have to rp a god O.o
I don't think so

I rp as a God =/
*directs attention to his sig*

Not really, if Graal can keep up with how many kills you have... then they can make it to where it can keep up with how many followers you kill.

It's a good idea .. but it's too bad that not everyone prays. I think that it would still help quite a bit, though .. maybe, too, the god could punish someone that PKs a loyal follower?

By the way, Bile and Brigid are TOTAL opposites .. they are complete enemies.

Yeah. Anyone should be able to have a god, and call upon them for intercession - only priests make an art of it.
