Re-install Graal.
They didn't have a new tileset, at least I don't think they do.

As soon as I start moving loads of black squares start appearing. :(

BTW, how come Cynical seem to have stolen Eras tileset?
My Graal is extremely messed up suddenly. :\

EDIT: Installed to a new folder and it worked.
Reinstalling over the current stuff didnt.

That'd definately not the Cynical tileset. It has nothing to do with cars and roads at all, it's just the server or their configuration messed up. I can't see the tileset either. Just ask a staff and they can fix it for you.

I had to do the same thing! I think it has something to do with tiledefs in the tiledefs folder..

That sometimes happens to me when switching worlds when not closing Graal first. The level I was in on the previous world still is visible when the one I'm switching to loads, then after a few seconds the correct level on the new world shows up.

Ill fix it, fixxed.

That problem has something to do with the npcserver I think. When you log on normally you would get some message from the npcserver, but I noticed in recent versions you have to walk out of onlinestart, and then the npcserver would send you a message, and then everything starts to load. Once everything loads, reconnect/restart to graal and things should begin to work correctly.

Same thing happened to me.

No its the tileset it happens to some people, one time rob was showing my renegade and it happend. I dunno whats the problem so i switched everything back to graal.

I think the problem might have been people went to Cynical before it opened so the tiledef was in their levels/tiledefs/tiledefs.txt and it was still trying to find the cynical tileset even though they took it down and reverted to regular Graal's tileset

Even if you think we seemed to have similar tilesets, no offence to renegade I think its a good pw, You can ask rob which pw has been in the making longer.

If Renegade's been in the making so long why does it seem like levelgen + tileset + custom bodies + 1 month of level detail? :X

2 years work on Odium + 1 1/2 years work on cynical. We put our pws together, the tileset came from mine.

So 1 3/4 years work ? O.o

1) Renegade has definatly been around longer than any form of Booj's work. It's been around for awhile.. Me and Jeice made like 558357317593157351 versions and then started hiring staff later. And Arcanius if you think your such a hotshot, just wait for the finished version. I don't wanna guarentee anything but I know it'll be very interesting to most eyes.

ok sorry to say so but if you think that renegade hasnt been in the making longer. we have had at least five or six completely different versions of renegade. what can i say? it keeps getting better and better ;) but this time i suggest you wait until you judge the full renegade =)
