Project Perfect
 

I am here today to help improve gameplay all over Graal. I wish to talk about differnt subjects that annoy me on Graal and I hope to improve on those subjects.

Intelligence:
Personally... I think it would be better if the players of Graal would use correct english. Which means none of this 'hi how r u doing 2day?' or 'Hey m8 any1 wnt 2 help me ppls plz?' So why dont we try and not use those? It would increase the intelligence on Graal and it would bring it more players.

Manners:
We should have manners... the common wealth of the players should be the top item on any list. Sure rivals are fun... but being total jackasses towards each other is just stupid. So be friendly towards each other and your life will be much easier.

Me:
Personally... I'm going to try and become everyone's friend. You can come to me.

I don't think it will influence anyone much, but nice try. :grins:

This is the way of the internet, not only graal...I dont see where if people spoke in correct grammar, anything would change

As for manners, I agree there, but that wont change

I was about to say something that would possibly help alot but I'm sure 99.9% of the people would have gotten offended XD

The main problem in my opinion is the moral-less *****s that scam and say stuff like "u r b am ***, ***, r hav no lyf3 k...i r fux0rzed j00 momz"

My advice if you dont like it dont respond to them. If enough people start ignoring people who talk like that people will get the idea. The one that annoys me off the most is you tell some one something and the idiot goes. y? It wouldnt be so bad if they could actually make it a complete sentence. But for some reason just one letter statments really annoy me. So I just ignore them all together. Also people who pm me on RC: Hi. I refuse to answer to Hi because then its always something stupid like can I have gralats can I have hats. Will you be my friend. *says in deep godlike voice* NO! Any how back to my advice at hand if you ignore them long enough or possibly tell them first that you wont respond with out a full thought out question. Chances are people will start to. :)

Well, it goes without saying that that should be done, but nobody knows how it can be done.

I've been trying to stop arguing with people (Well, mostly just Kaimetsu and Kamuii), it doesn't work :\

Oh... well I made the post to get Graal to read it and rethink how they play. Kind of like "Help us make Graal better by improving you"

It's like the Anti-smoking ads. Smoking isn't illigal... but the ads try to make people think about it.

Unfortunatly, most of Graal doesn't read the forums.

I do all of the stated things anyway, it's just hard being polite to someone that is acting like a *****.

I agree with all that was stated but as Cheetos (Spelling could be Incorrect) said you arent the greatest example. Not really to insult you or to prove some kind of point, its just you seem to not know that you engange somewhat in what you are trying to prevent. That my two cents but seemingly on theese boards Ill have my opinion wadded up and thrown at me. -.-;

Forcing people ingame to expand confusing and annoying abbreviations is a simple issue of scripting (like the censor on newmain, basically), though some people would doubtless evade it..

kind of hard to evade 'u' '2' 'r' etc o.o

At least it keeps some sort of RPing in the game, and even people who arn't rping can't really disrupt rping people as easily.

It's less annoying, also >_<

Kind of hard to script something to convert that as well. 2? Not only do people use "2" as a number, but they use it as "too" and "to" as well. People would say "Give me 2 potions." and it would come out "Give me to potions."

Certain stuff like "u" could be changed to "you" as long as it was alone and not in a word. But again with "ur" it could be your or you're. I think most people just use abbreviations because they never learned which word to use in a sentence.

Like "too/to" and "you're/your". Of course, then there are also a lot people that just use it because they are lazy/think it's trendy.

Unixmad doesn't like being told what's wrong with Graal though. Sometimes I wonder if he wants things to improve on graal. This is not meant to be negative; just a thought. :\

GameSpy has one somewhere on their site (Or it may be a part of GameSpy Arcade) where you can raise and lower the level of how much it changes the text from normal to 1337 o.o
