Review: Exodia
 

I get the impression Exodia is community server with events, quests and so. Anyway on to the Review ^_^

Creativity - 8.5/10 - Nice! Original Ideas, Clean, Everything was great here. You had your own Tile set. I really enjoyed just playing here. You can see spots on the map that will be where people hang out. Its great. :)The server was overall very very unique and has will have players playing over and over again.


Storyline - 6/10 - You had a storyline that’s good. . I mean The quests fitted in good. You can find elements of the storyline very easy.I suggest adding more elements to follow.

Levels - 9/10 - YES! Just YES! Great Levels. You had paths that connected across the whole map it joined onto others, It was like a Mini Highway System :). You kept the same level type same style across the whole server making me thing one person made all the levels or they all used the exact same

NPC's - 7/10 - NPC's are nicely coded, They also look very good. There was a lot of npc's. The manager of the server is a NPC Scripter so I'm sure there will be a lot more npc's coming. The owner(s) know they only have 4 Weeks In private if it passes all tests. Most NPC's Were NPC-Server ready that I liked very much.

Quests - 9/10 - Lots of quests, and The fact they weren’t just slash and hack baddys. There was puzzles and riddles I enjoyed it and it challenged me. Great quality, and the prizes at the end aren't just hearts, There was many things (Npcs mostly), The staff had to of thought about planning theses quests for some time and didn't just put them together in a hurry..

Overall score: 39.5/50

Exodia's Status: Pass!

Exodia website: Not Yet Online. I'll be providing them space to transfer from old host

So all together looks be a very fun and a lot of re-playable server that will be played for a very long time. Congratulations to the Exodia Team. Aftershock is reviewing next and should post in a matter of days

Also, why do they get such a high mark for having a storyline that isnt keyed in very well?

Because it was a good storyline. They followed good. They just need to add more elements in the breaks of the storyline :)

And im not jealous of Exodia, its moer of the mood im in after finding something out about another server that's apparently getting up because someone who works there is buddies with one of Stefan's associates and is getting Stefan to put it up.

Lets see, the last thing I remember Stefan putting up was like Gaia..

Nothing's perfect..

Aftershock tells it like it is.. same to friends.
He realizes that his review's impact the game and while on duty he treats everyone the same.

Even if it does seem a bit high... that is why Aftershock has to review it, etc, etc.

It could be a great server. We just have to see.

Just asking, please explain what was so good about it besides well coded npcs and amazing levels.

It could be a great server.

From the screenies ive seen, its a server with a tileset that's 30% redone and a bunch of detailed levels.

Accully, all there NPC's are already scripted into clientside becasue Rudora said they could test there stuff there. I've seen some of there NPC's and there quite good. Ningnong is a great scripter, and will be a great Manager.

I want to get ONE thing straight,
I do not doubt Ningnong at all, he's leet at scripting and leet at being leet..

Its some of the other staff that im afraid will turn it into renegade

for about a year but that's when It was known as Cosmic Canyon
Snake Is a good level maker and person
Ning Is a good scripter and more I'm sure
Genesis Is good with levels and graphics
I think we all should be glad with eXodia for passing the review
They deserved that Rating, and Angel Is'nt biast If she thinks a servers good then It's good.

Just because one person likes a server doesnt mean the other thousand will (neccesarily)

ya, but then again, i know pretty much all the managers of exodia (i think) they kept sending me updates since the early ages, they really deserve to be put up after all that hard work.. good job guys..

Although I got a tip, you guys have like 10 managers o.o. There should only be 2 at most.. if you start hiring like this and that and having stupid positions like "Staff Admin" Wtf is that?? Its another exuse for an admins job. Remember what happend to renegade, they gave rc rights away, and they had like 10 managers, they went corrupt, dont let this happen to such a good pw :)

Yea, I agree to what Warcaptain said but I still think they deserved that review. I know the Managers and I also know that they are very good at their areas (level making, npc scripting, and etc)...

Why is everyone complaining about Angels review?
I doubt many of you have actually seen the server and you are just looking for oppertunities to bash her.
For all you know it could be a great server like she says.
However it could be a bad player world and she is being too lenient on them but I Don't knowand neither do the majority of you, some may know.
Anyway that is why the server has to pass more than one reviewers opinion.

Christ... arcadius you're being such an a**. :| The pwa isn't supposed to go into detail about the features and stuff on the playerworld because it would be ruining the surprise. I know I would be highly pissed off if I sent in my playerworld and the pw reviewer sat there and talked about all the quests and features and everything.

You seriously just seem to have issues with either Angel, or somebody from Exodia staff. Like it's already been said, maybe the last pw sucked, and this pw is actually good. It's not like it couldn't happen. You act as if you know the quality of both pw's.

I can't make a comment on Angel's review, but from a technical standpoint she did the job she was supposed to. I will review the playerworld myself and we'll see.

Yeah, if your that bothered then you will see it in Aftershocks PW. But guys I cna honestly say that I couldn't have given eXOida any less than it got, its a good PW with alot to offer, its been long in the making and has a great geled (gel-ed!) team which will work hard for a hell of a long time.

I cant see why you think Angel would be biast, She knows too well to be prossional and she wouldn't mess up a chance like this. She has given the correct markings, and maybe you people are just afriad that a PW could be too good and be better than your PW in development in which case you shout allegations suggesting Angel is fixed, which I can honestly say I 100% done belive as Angel is just doing her job as Aftershock stated, so just be happy for them.
