Future Ideas
We at graal2001 interested in getting your input (Yes, your input!) about what you think needs to be changed for the server.
No spam, please. Also, I would not like discussion about whether it should be a gold server or not, or whether or not there should be a reset. What I'd like is simply a bunch of ideas, thoughts, viewpoints, etc., about graal2001's current situation and what could be done to improve it. Some starting questions: What do you think of the current jobs? What kind of jobs would you like to see? What do you think of the economy? What types of new trading items of value should there be? Post your feelings on these, and any other things you might think of! |

uh how about we think of original jobs, smack some good levels and graphics on there, update the website (most importantly) and then about 10 more players will devote themselves, and 10 more players on graal2001 will attract more players, because peopel come here when there are players

What do you think of the current jobs?
Boring and repetitive What kind of jobs would you like to see? Some jobs with a more 'arcade game' feel. Maybe making fishing more interesting. Adding things like different colors/types of fish, the ability to switch between lures, different types of water. Well, maybe its a bit too much, but it would be fun. What types of new trading items of value should there be? Maybe have some trading items that just don't make your character look pretty. Like NPCs that aren't exactly needed but fun to have. For example. if you sold the catch net, or if Metris was a bit harder to find, Konequence was cheaper but had a limited stock, or that gangpin needs to be created through a series of small jobs. Not that these NPCs should be switched over to that, just that we had some to trade. Also, possibly have an arcade so you don't need to have that item to play it (but it costs something, like a pearl or something ;| ). Possibly have some things that player house owners (or people that have a room) can use. Like if they bought a couch they can drop it in their room and sit on it, etc. |

Group jobs maybe (like mining, sombody mines, puts gems in a cart, sombody drives cart back and forth, sombody makes stuff from gems, they all get money)
Collectables shouldn't be limited edition. You should earn them by quests/making them. Give clothes changer a point again :whatever: Upload Necklace making :whatever: |
I think that when you die, instead of loseing 100+g and tons of minerals you should lose like 5-10g and fewer minerals
Finish bogeria storage expand smaller towns |

I would like to see the jobs with less button mashing...it would be a bit better to carry items to certain places like in mining instead of having to mine then craft you could probably just mine then carry them to a jewler to identify them then carry them to a shop in another location to sell. Re-add scriptable bomies, add new horse race tracks and some new events and maybe a few quest. Oh! We can't forget a new doll shop for all the newer staff ;) Speaking of which...if one is added, Googi would be the first Bomy Doll! O_O

I can't belive this has been overlooked for so long but...
Graal2001 has the worst intro ever. This needs to be the number one priority before the reset as of right now. I mean it is totaly horrible. For those of you who don't remember it's hard to explain, it just really sucks. |

uhhh me and androk were talking about it earlier, but it would be like well like a bomy or a bomy owner could go into a little hole, and use the bomy spin npc to make it explode and oil comes out. then you have to swim around in the water and collect the oil.
another idea: bomy mining, (for bomys or bomy owners) bomys would have to run into walls to break them (accross water), or you go into a hole in the wall and spin minerals out. you sell the minerals to the miner for 1g per five, or you can craft them, or sell them in the market or whatever. i like the second one best. |
Less button mashing, new gfx, more focus on bomys
Like 3 types of bomys flying, water, and land bomys would be l33t Make all water masses able to go under it and dive and move around instead of certain places! woooo.. and have underwater dungeons!! jumping add jumping woooooh! Add it so you can be animals too like MONKEYS-bomys where you can do.. stuff and look like a monkey!!! wooooh! get rid of the draisel!! Make more use of the train! Make 3 types of humans! Winged, Zormite, Human!!! oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh!!! that woudl be cooool and make a stat system so there is no max hit points and there are repeat quests where it says go slay um like 100 npcs and come back and you get 1 hp added to your max hp then they will give you another random quest or something.. where it says go make 30 breads and you get 1mp and that would be cool like a Monster hunting guild ro something.. wooooo! that way there is no max hp or mp and and replay keeps going on and on and on and on!! woooo! |

Okay, heres a longer one...Complex Battling, what i always thought 2k1 should be important with. Special moves in battle, like quick sword dashes that damage in a line..or a spin-attack quakeish move. Cutter slashes, all sorts of neat moves that makes battling fun and unique. |

i think that the dungeons should have a better use than just for monster kills. First of all I think they should be better organized. for example less dead ends, ect. Another idea is that they should lead to places that you cannot get to by draisine/train.

Ok in all seriousness here is an idea....
-Restart g2k1 (already decided I think?) -Get rid of the ugly hats.. -Make an animal hat store! -When you put on an animal hat you change into that Animal! (like in mario 3!) (all it is, is a body change) -Every possibility of a Human needs to be matched to a possibility of a bomy in some abstract way. ex. Humans can dig, Bomys can Dig spin. -Get rid of pet bomys (becuase then the human can buy all the possibilitys of a player bomy thus making it useless to be a bomy). If a player bomy wants to be a graalians pet then that should be the only way. unless you make it so bomies can have human pets. -Change the tileset! -Get rid of some of the things on the world map. The player houses are in horrid locations if players want a player house it should be in a PLAYER town. where multiple people can live in a player village. Bomies should have different looking buildings. -Money should be rare! very rare! as rare as it was back in the beginning! that is RARE! and getting money should be hard extremely hard. That way people feel proud that they have money! with that make it so if youd ie you don't lose money. Thus player killing is pointless. |
