New Playerworld Rising Empires

1 Attachment(s)
Well, here's another Playerworld Project :D
The name is Rising Empires, and it's mainly about RP and Nations that should try to become big, to rise to Empires. But... we don't got so much staff etc. Well, thats it. Don't got any screenshots (yet) but we're planning on making a new tileset, with wooden and stone buildings, and, ofcourse, castles and fortresses. Still, many of the old Graal Tileset will remain the same.

Oh, woops. The thing above is a dagger (the icon) for RE (Rising Empires).

LOL, I agree, it's not even a very big image and it's got a black bg so it's even harder to see. That's not impressing me in the least bit. Yes we have to discourage people because if we didn't, these people would think they were fine and make crap playerworlds that we would have to put up with.

JrTerrorist 01-21-2003 07:23 AM

We just teach people what we dont approve of and what we prefer..

Dagger icons are not approved :p

Jaffer, i only PMed you on Era once, my AIM is Cyrigorn, so check if there isn't anyone else doing it.

GoZelda 01-21-2003 06:06 PM

About the dagger icon, lol. Our previous owner just stopped after he was globally banned for "No reason". So we're in quite a mess. I only got 1 GAT, and 1 NPC Admin that doesn't do anything.

G_yoshi 01-21-2003 11:02 PM

::cough::
Not to be rude, but why don't you shoe up with a nice playerworld project that is already in progress and has potential? Yeah, the idea of getting that "awesome power" is usually first on many minds of those developing PWs unfortunately :( But it never hurts to hunt around first for a project that's already going and has garnered some positive attention in the community.

Well.. yea.. that's a very good post G_yoshi :)

But still, for a GAT.. that dagger icon doesnt look very good in my opinion :X

I think the consensus is that we're all tired of the same thing repeated over and over again with slight variations tossed hitherto. Its my opinion that many players are ready for something a little more fresh and different. While there are several that are traditionalists (won't name who) that are causing this lag in progress onto better things, its impossible for Graal to maintain the way it is now into the future. This is why unixmad and Stefan are changing things. In my opinion they are trying to clear a path for Graal to become a more marketable product. This has consequences both good and bad, but I think if everything is handled well the good will out weight the bad in the long run.
