so as i just read genesis's post i wanan see if you guys think my levels look good or not
i got quite a few :O well anyway, i wanted to know if you guys could also rate my levels sincei havent had a major project in forever (i mainly do inside levels) and i want to know what you all think! here's some houses i made (just pictures of houses) http://www.geocities.com/bombermangraal/houses.GIF i also have some other pics of levels thati think i want you to see ill attach 1 pic and attach the other one in the next post ok ok, the house onthe right is the house i uploaded while i worked for npulse the house on top was some crap house someone put in to make my docks look bad- it was originally 1 dock to my house onthe right the house thatsred is the only thingi didnt add on my own |

here's the first inside level of that house on the dock, it didnt take me long to make, but im wondering if you like it :D

I can tell you didn't put much work into the insde level.
I give it a 4/10... On the other hand I love the outside dock level and I give it a 4.5/5. I would give a perfect score but I don't think it is quite perfect :P |

Anyway, they are good levels, but nothing too new, nothing that hasn't been done before. Its good but I can see you have a long way to go and your only starting out. |

1st one is good... 2nd one can be detailed and improved more.:D

It needs more detailing. The docks are to plain perhaps somethign to give it some pattern.
The sand You're only using one sand tile along with some rocks. Use all 3 sand tiles. I stopped looking there. |

At least he is trying, some people who play grala never do, they should try something development wise as it can be fun. And anyway, its better than my first level(s).

Nice outside level, let's rate it...
Okay, you only use 1 grass tile, look near the tree in select tile and there you see two more. Don't add to much of those sand clumps. The wood of the board could get some of those stair thingy's. The castle stairs near the upper house shouldn't be there, but that's my opinion, because you should be able to walk DIRECTLY to the house, not walk up on stairs. In the total down-left corner there isn't much detail, add, like, two detail tiles there. Rating: 5/10 Nice, but a bit clumsy. Improve it and it will rock. Inside level rating: Well, it looks very nice, now add some tables, npcs and a bar or something, i really like it, 6/10, i can't wait for your other levels. |
First one looks pretty descent though those sand clumps. But I think you need more details. The houses are good.
Level 1 Rating = 8/10 The second level is very good! I liked how you did the water and how you make the tiles look like on each side. Though you need to add some tables, or give some other details. Level 2 Rating = 8.5/10 Good job and remember. Practice makes better! |
8.5/10 for the first one, it looks good and is pretty original for a dock set up, it looks like it would actually work if a scripter added some sytem
second level 6/10 It's a good start/base, I dont like how on the wall part those lines project out, but it can get better with some work |
