No more trading islands? I've been out for a few days, can someone fill me in?

The new stuff listed on the site sounds cool. :D After I beat FFVIII (I finally got a PS1! .....why everyone laughing?) I look forward to returning to Graal! (Unless FFIX catches me first.....) ;)

Now there is market stands on all the kingdom isles close to the ferry docks...and the old islands will be conquerable now or something.

FF8 was my favorite rpg of all time besides Lufia2 (snes game). Oh, and dont waist your time on FF9 -_-

There's no reason not to waste your time playing a perfectly good RPG. The plot might be a bit thin but that doesn't mean you shouldn't play it.

FFIX was possibly one of the best of the FF series. FFVIII wasn't that great, although I still enjoyed it.

Final Fantasy 8 is the best in my book.

I liked the Futuristic stuff in it and such. Then I played 9 and I couldn't stand the tail. Then I got used to it and I got to the Ancient Temple's boss, that big airplane... and I cant beat him :(

FFX is ok, but the cienamatics kind of play for you. Like you take a step and your char starts running around, killing monsters, exploring.. all without your control.

I played through the whole game, and from that I derive my opinion. It was a disappointment for me, and looking back I DO wish I hadnt played through it. It has such a great rap just because it got back to the FF roots, the medieval styled aspects and all.

And whats wrong with FF8?? Somebody point out a few major points that would render it crap. Just because the plot was complicated doesnt mean it was bad, infact once you are able to put some peices together its very good and deep. Had better gfx than even ff9, very cool junction system, great music, etc etc.

Gah I always get defensive when I see people putting down such an ownage game :grrr:
