Heh, oldbies should remember this, the Graal Classic loading screen, on graal v 1.28

Yeah, that load screen was made by Gandarian I believe...He showed it to me like a week before it was on the client. I miss gand, he was a cool guy.

Never started graal from the start, it would have been cool, but I'll live.

Perhaps I'm mistaken but I was under the impression 1.28 was never released publicly because Stefan immediatly came out with a better version that had a lot of bug fixes that the 1.28 version had. So it went right to 1.29 or 1.3 something like that. Perhaps I'm mistaken.

1.28 was released, but Stefan released a new version (either 1.29 or 1.3, I forget) about two days later because there were several bugs and if I remember correctly something was wrong with the fighting system. Either way, the fixed version did use Gandarian's load screen, as well as several versions of graal that followed (at least until I left...which was in 2000 I believe)
Hard to believe I haven't played Graal in two years...

Ok thanks for the clarification. :) I wasnt around that far back. Didnt start playing until some time in the spring of 2000. No idea what version but it was similar to the type we have now minus the tabs and stuff. :P

Yeah I left before then. Most people left because it was no longer free, but I left while it still was free. I just got to a point where I couldn't stand the game anymore. I'm back now because I wanted to see what progress Graal has made in my hiatus...Some things are cool, but a lot is still the same old crap...
