New Fighting System (Instead of Modes)
 
It would be simple to get rid of battle mode altogether. We would just need to make a few changes.

First of all, adding monsters to the starting island. Maybe a dungeon, but just with the weak monsters found walking around the main Island. And add becoming level 2-3 to the start island quest requirnments.

Also, have a no-pk zone system like on other servers. Where stores and generally whole towns would be in a peaceful state where you can't hurt anybody. Dungeons would also be in no-pk.

Finnally, have it so you are automatically in rp/kingdom mdoe when you enter a kingdom island.



This would be better because it would add more realistic fighting, and you would be able to attack anyone. Also, the journey to the next town/safe place would be funner with thieves and bandits and other things waiting to chase/tarrif you.

Yeah, i think this would be a good addition. but then i think the system where you lose stats wheny ou die should be turfed and you just lose exp, because doing it this way you would die a lot more and losing all your stats would be a major bumber. (also, its should set restart poitns on leaving/entering a town, so u dont get warped all the way back to, say Astri, when you die)

[edit] id would also be nice to have a few mroe monster variety maybe, after youve fought everything, there isnt really anything to look forward to

I like it too...maybe adding that you aren't alowd to kill anyone 5 levels below you would be good too until they reach lv10 (meaning a level 20 could kill a lv10 but a lv8 can't kill a lv3.)

Yeah, it's annoying when someone comes to destroy a piece of your kingdom and you can't do anything :(

Hm...that's actually a fair idea...definitely anyone from any other kingdom would have to be in Kingdom Mode when entering a foreign/enemy island...

Maybe any kingdom which the home island hasn't designated as an ally can only enter in kingdom mode? But then there's the issue of people leaving kingdom mode...so yes, I suppose anyone in a kingdom island must be in kingdom mode. Maybe it's temporary unless they ring the bell?

If you have a kingdom tag. If its on or off isnt important, make it automatically go on so they cant destroy zormtie ships OOC. And, if they dont have a kingdom tag, make then diabled. SO they cant destroy anything/hurt anyone, and no one can hurt them. You must thing of safety issues to better suit the kingdom :P

I like it, except for the no-PK zone in dungeons. Since when were dungeons a safe place? :rolleyes:
