Exodus updates
 

Here's some Updates Including a Updated map,

Well I've been working on Levels mostly and NPCs, probally
NPCs more than levels, I was thinking about scripting
a Palm Pilot or Laptop type thing but Era done that lol,

So that's outta the Picture I guess, I've added in Snowboarding Plus Fixed Snowboarding from Green guyyy's Original Version of It with Shabby onwall, and it Didnt check for tiles lol, now it does :P,

Made that snow Island top right corner, added along the beach to the right, Removed middle Snow place and replaced It with a Swamp type place,

One more thing we're Looking for a Scripter & a GFX Designer with good Qualifications e.g. Some Experience with Mathmatics (the scripter here) in graal good Knowledge of the language, good worker nice person, If you have some Examples then Email, message me, pm me at:

Plus I've Hired One New Lat, His Name is Azreil Aka Rex or Sexy Rexy lol, good friend Of mine Good level Maker, plus I got another person trying out to be a Lat he's Currently making a Quest :),

and More OMG Cronic's working on some new Trees for the tileset so hopefully they turn out good, and 2K Is working Well sometimes It seems like It's just me and him working on the server lol, ohh yeh If you have any Suggestions on stuff to add
then feel free to suggest em lol,

I'm not uptodate on the new offline servers XD

if that was directed at me, i asked because i can script for non-NPC servers :P

All the NPC's were made for no npc server So we will go in the Direction of Non npc untill we actually need It I guess, well that's if we get up, So all Clientside, I can script a little bit in the NPC server but not that well lol.

ok, i will send a couple of my NPCs, i'm not known that much here o_o; I spend all my 'graal time' offline scripting, or idling on classic :P

Ok good, I've herd of you a bit In the UN Forums I think you Knew Ultima Hunter friend of mine, ohh yeah I'm making the Exodus site again well A new and better one so yeah :).

Since Classic wanted to stay a non-NPC Server and was forced to do so because of security risks etc.. and all Servers online are NPC Servers I don't think any Server going up will be allowed to have a Non-NPC Server so If I were you I would convert them now or have the scripts ready to change over in case I am right. It will be alot less headaches if you do it now in development than waiting to do it online. I could be wrong but just in case i'm right save yourself some major headaches later on. I know, Npulse didn't start out with a NPC Server and I know what is involved. Its no fun believe me.. :\

Umm here's a old Snapshot of the tileset, BTW here's the site so far It's outdated I'll upload the update In a few days noting special really http://www.scratchit.netfirms.com I use dreamweaver cause I'm to Lazy to use Notepad :P, btw I done the gfxs In PSP, so they aint really to good someone messed up my flood Effects an all on it.

P.S. Old snapshot hence meaning the Levels are old :P, that path Is different now more random and all Plus that Health bar suckers lol, and that gun in my hand Is the Submachine gun with Recoil :) modern server modern crap.

Ok true, try take that into PM next time lol so yah dont get In trouble :), *waits for any email appart from porno in my email* *****, ohh BTW I dunno If I posted this but CRoNic's making a new tree so hopefully that comes out nice, and the tree's gonna be linkable and all and hopefully It'll be purty, and I might add another Hat into the Hat system so there can be another Hat quest (The Hat quests arent that hard cause well they aint really something special).

I got hired, and fixed the health bar, and remade the Hat NPC :D
The server looks really good.Screenshots can be viewed here, although most of them are just repeats from the board :P

Uhh?, stealing yah Character I've used that char style for the last year or so x.x, btw Dark is teh shizzer of a Nat <3 to him He works well and his Hat system is alot more Efficient and will Most probally be less laggy than our Current one, Our original one Was very Teduis lol, btw Houdini that Has no Relevance to this post ;).

Ohh some more New I've hired another New Lat lol, his name's Wan, a very very good friend of mine On graal known him awile now, He's a good LAT to he's got his Own server but that doesnt bother me cause I know he'll work, I'll show you some of his work (this is his server rapture, he made it in 5days and the level quality is still very nice).

Here's some more Shizzer from Exodus, Chat System In making ( thanks to Darkrider), a Inside of the snow town and a outside were the Iceskating is.

Chat start up, It can be disabled by clicking the second txt part with the mouse or pressing 'a', and you enter chat by clicking enter bleh bleh.

This is The inside level for the snowtown well one of em, It's the Help and Info center for the snowtown.

OMG the outside one it aint detailed x.x, this is where theres a bit of Iceskating.

Here's the Bottom right hand corner Detailed, I added a mini quest into it :D, you gotta Take a note over to one guy and he'll give you a hat rather easy but Hats arent nothing special,

I'll probally be adding a quest into the top part of it aswell :D, umm Fixed up some NPCs in the Boat hat quest, Added in New Hat system If I havent said that, Screen name Is working on the new Inventory & GUI,

and It looks good with Its new GFXs I'll show when I'm done, and 2k I dunno If he's been working in the past week much cause Of his school work but School comes first ;D (I'm still in Holidays Btw), Dunno how the Chat sys Is going cause Dark aint been on, and remember Ideas will always be considered
so If you think/know you have a great Idea for a Event, Npc,

Level, GFX, ETC then post It here. :), ohh yeh there's new Graphics for the Chat system aswell (thanks to 2K).

What is the blue vertical bar for that is next to the player? I just wanted to comment on it because those types of stat bars are annoying. Over the top of the head maybe... bottom, maybe... but extending over the entire side of the character just seems obstructive.

At least tell me you'll have an option to turn that off. Also I'd like to say, I hope you have some fresh ideas planned, as everything I see for your pw is already done somewhere else. There is no point in re-inventing the wheel you know. ;p Plus your gun gfx need work, Era's are much better already.

Yeah, I dont play Era due to the bars which I feel resticts my play, as lets face it, in a graal window you dont see much as it is, never mind blocking it with lots of bars.

Its the HP bar WHICH CAN BE TURNED OFF :)

Indeed It can be turned off :D by clicking the bar, and turned back on by clicking the player.

Post a screenie showing the hosue gfx please, they look interesting.

I'll post a screenie of houses once i get the tileset >.<

Why is a chat system so important when we have PM, Mass, and In-Game Chatting? :|

Alot of people on graal have masses off. PMs are to one person, and In-Game chatting needs everyone to be in the same room.
This way is faster too :P

Because its new, inovated, cool, fun. Why is animations in graal so important? Why why why?

Dont ask questions of that nature :\

Heh well It's there choice If they go get the chat system so yep,

I made this before and the GFXs,
I was mucking around in PSP and I thought I'd have a go with some Side view of grass just for learning purposes then I added some plants and stuff and I showed 2K and he was like "You should make that into a quest with Green Guyyy's Gravity script" So I did lol,
It's pretty good gotta finish all the graphics for it,
Then I'll post another screenshot,

It wont have monsters and crap In it It'll be dodging stuff so Weapons + Items are Disabled, those rocks move left and right
a few tiles and If you touch them you'll get hurt,
there will be Items you can pick up to heal, If you have any Ideas
for the Quests well Post em here they'll be considered :D.
