Why was I banned?
 

I started Graal the Adventure, and my friend gave my a Lizard Sword and then I got put into a cell and then banned! Why? Is recieving items illegal or something? When I start it up it says something about an illegal Lizard Sword flag. My friend says he doesnt know why...last time I trust him though. :grrr:

BTW I dont think Im installing the new setup.exe right, its 1 kb, and then I get a Page Cannot Be Displayed.

You can't give sword items away just like that. He was probably using a trainer, or you were. Whichever, it's not legal, and you're taking the blame and the ban for it.

It seems to be, I didnt do anything wrong but I still got banned. I got blamed. Not even a second chance and I got payed for this thing.

you could probably appeal, and try to get your account back. Plus, if you payed for it, why not try another server?

Hm...maybe...how do I appeal? And Graal the Adventure seemed to interest me the most, for the time I played it. Delteria seems good with its class system, so I might try that.

Try Maloria, it has Nations which you can choose and be part of its army (yes, they have wars between Nations) and lots of events... (To be exact: 30+ events)

hey layman at least u got ban for a real reason, i got the good old "u were hacking" excuse. but guess what I have no trainers x.x

I think punishment should be based on a ticket system. Player does something wrong, they get a ticket, after a certain amount of tickets, ban. After a month or something, the tickets would be erased, so if you truely didn't mean to "cheat" then it would be obvious when you didn't recieve any other tickets.

Then if somebody cheats all the time and wiggles out of punishment, the tickets would show they have cheated many times.

don't listen to that stuff, he is the manager for the server. The server is garbage, they get 20 ppl on, 8 ppl are staff, then 8 more for RC, then the 4 ppl who play because they like the staff.

Haha...so anyways, how do I appeal? If you cant, I guess thats okay, Ill just be kinda mad thats all.

Are you permenantly banned? or do you not know?

Any item that is dropped (even with a trainer) but bombs, arrows, hearts and gralats is client side only. If someone throws another item, it doesn't matter how, no other player would see it and won't have the ability to take it.

It's like when I started my friend kept trying to give me the level 3 glove. We must have gone through about 4 of them before we realized it wasnt lag but the fact I just couldnt see it. So finally gave up and went to avalon and got it my self. :P

Actually, I couldnt really tell, he dropped the sword on me (or gelat or bomb or something as it apparently would appear to me). But he told me it would be it, and next thing I know im in a cell.
And about the not being able to take it, I dont know, Ill call him and ask him about it.

God, he wont tell me anything about it. And I also want to go the The Adventure BECAUSE OF KWUALZ! That guy will not leave me alone, on both g2k1 and Era, and I dont think he goes to the Adventure. He keeps stealing my stuff and PKing me...grrr.

Er, that wouldn't matter in this case because it was the servers autojail that got him at the exact moment it happened, not a GP ban.

not true, when i used to hack, the supposive 'autojail' didn't catch me, it was madbrad like 2 months later lol.

Auto jail probably wasn't programmed to work then, or it couldnt even be the same one, ebcause the flags have all changed for quests.

er it wasn't auto jail, the message he posted in the first post is the autojail message though, but Chronos banned you, former GP admin, so I doubt it's void

Autojail? Because he has both the autojail marks and chronos' marks, so either way...

auto get jailed, in other words, You hacked, Items can not be
handed out, and they cant be dropped, if a player drops it even
hacking, you cant see it, so you used a trainer, you just want to lie
and act like you didnt

Same thing but the person was a stranger. I asked the staff of the Classic Server to unban me but they never answer me

BTW Menance there are two different ways of dropping a weapon. First theres the one when u manually drop it (but the players cant get it). And the other one is dropping a hacked one by using a hacked npc. But you cant hack the level 4 sword because there isnt a chest with the level 4 in the server.

what if it was a serverside npc?
then technically no PLAYER would have dropped it... and he may have been able to pick it up? either way he's still stupid for trying to cheat

To bad classic doesnt have a NPC-Server to have serverside npcs
