OK.
well
recently, i have been testing NPCs taht use attachplayertoobj online (With NPC server) and there is a huge bug! the player is immediatly warped off the NPC deteached, and sent to a reletivly random x and wy!
Its not my scripting, ive found and testing lots of other scripts as well, and all result in the same problem. And it happens to other people as well!

( i have some boat scripts which worked before, but now wont work) AARG!!!

With boats:
as soon as the boat goes over a link, the detach player, random xy bug happens!
its happened to me and other people on other servers as well!

Yeah it does that for me, I dont know if its a bug r not [Bug forums] or [scripting forums] but if it always does that when you detach the player you should have to state an X and Y.

Well, I could move some levels down with your boat without problems :(
Does it also happen at vertical warps for you?

We are having a similar problem with a bridge on graal2001 (the bridge that leads to the Railroad Park). As soon as it tries to attachplayertoobj, the player gets warped to a proportional x,y northwest of where the bridge is. Unfortunately, this area is populated with trees, so it makes it even worse.

I talked to Stefan and he said he would look into it, but I never heard back from him, and it still isn't working :X

My thoughts were that the way the client/server handles scripting has changed for/because of graal2002 :X

Make sure the attachplayertoobj is being used properly. This may sound like a no-brainer, but when I was making ships on Providence, I didn't use the command correctly. That's why the ships didn't work for a while until I finally got it fixed.
