It's always worked fine for me...

Well its not working for me gives some errors i am running win xp pro and win2k pro wont install on either of them the setup.exe runs but when i starts to download the ini file to see what updates are available it errors. I know atleast 30 people now cannot update i am sure there are more then that though

something went wrong with my graal, when i tried to log on it said something about not a win32 application , so i thought ok i'll just re download it , and the setup wouldnt work for me on XP home.
Thankfully i remembered this post here and downloaded it straight away.

I hope setup.exe is fixed soon, I still don't have the new version and it's been out for a while now..

I always used/use this one, hehe, I thought they still used it but I guess not now.

Umm use the one at the top pal. See, that's why the thread is titled: "Old Setup.exe" Because there is one that works..

Finally, I can get Graal on my laptop! :|

The newer setup needs to be fixed, it took me about 20 tries before I could upgrade it on my other WinXP computer .. :whatever:

Ok removed the attachments, the
normal setup.exe works again

:) Magical! Maybe he can work a MAC and Unix edition? If he can do it quicker than CyberJ team, Stefan/Unix may offer a price for the source!?

Come on man, I helped out people (your customers, mind you) download the client of your game... You could have said "Thanks" at least instead of "don't ever try to help the graal community again and never post working versions of things I messed up". Sheesh

But such exes can contain viruses and stuff, we don't want to be responsible for such things. Updating to v2.17 was not needed until now that v2.16 is disabled on Graal Kingdom.

Others (including myself) had some kind of computer issue that disallowed them to download their paid for game. So as I watched my days on my gold account tick down I decided I would find an old setup.exe and I did on an old backup CD. I can see your point though, you never can be too careful.

Some of us weren't doing it for updating, though. I was trying to install it on my other computer.

Oh well, I'm glad that things are honkey dorey again. :p

Stefan the issue with the new setup still isnt fixed, and now that you've taken away the old setup, I cant download graal! Bah!

I have the old version of the setup, its just that my floppy drive is broken on this laptop! bahness!
