I just finished the bug fix for my Cow Quest, and I even have the new cow graphics ;) ... but in order for it to be uploaded, there needs to be a prize you get for winning it. Yes, right now it's prizeless, and I'd like you to tell me what you'd like it to be. Make sure you download the quest before you post :D

Lizard Shield would be great. It doesn't really make you STRONGER, just helps getting around the huge map.

The mirror shield is actually weaker than the newb shield.

I would say make the prize the new under-development JUMP NPC!

But i'm sure it will have its OWN quest, as valuable as such an NPC would be.

And I thought Level 2 shield (mirror) WAS stronger than the n00bie shield? Its weaker? WHAT UP WIT DAT!?

My opinion: the prize should be a bottle, We should implement a bottle & net system for catching butterflies and things and sell them/trade/convert them to items like healing potions. Something interesting!

OH! How about... you get a BOTTLE full of MILK like in the zelda games? Then after you drink the milk you keep the bottle.

Or bottles of water that can fill .5 a heart

I'd say a refillable milk bottle would be the best prize, or perhaps an NPC that would allow you to call a personal horse that looks like a cow for riding.

Sounds good :D ... how about a cow NPC that you can ride around like a horse, and it gives you milk? I don't know if I could code that, but if you think you can, you're more than welcome to... heh

Anyway, if a cow NPC prize is either illegal or impossible, i think a glove would be good (if it opens another quest), or maybe even a shield increase. But I like the ideas so far, keep up the good work! ;)

The mirror shield is supposed to be better than the level1 shield, but it isn't. The reason? Because it's bugged.

When a shot hits the newbie shield, it bounces off and no damage is taken. When a shot hits the mirror shield, it's supposed to bounce and hit the other direction. But it doesn't work, you can't hurt people or baddies with the deflected arrow.

However, if a shot hits you while you have the mirror shield and you're moving, it's likely to still hurt you. I don't know exactly why, but I think because you see the shot bounce off and you walk into it. If you have the newbie shield, it won't. That's why the newbie shield is better. Actually, it makes a big difference. the newbie shield is much better.

Pretty lame, ey? They should fix the mirror shield. :\

Yes i think a cow NPC would be great you could ride it but it doesn't go as fast as a horse and you can call it and get some milk to heal you but it has to fill up its milk after a few uses

Any one of those would be nice...

I like the idea for a milk bottle as a prize. You could take the milk bottles to any cow in graal and use it to fill it with milk. Then, wherever you go, you can use the milk bottle once to recover, say, 2 hearts.

If you ask Stefan to script something for you, chances are he'll do it gladly. Also, anything he helps with is much more likely to get put on the server. :)

Who has beaten the cow quest? I almost did, but then the timer ran out (It's even harder with Tyhm's cows) :)

I just did.

I.. uh... gave it a coouple tries than quit. But I almost beat it the second time, and the first I didn't really understand what I was doing. So I think I can get it next time, if I try again!

I know that, but I was voicing my opinions.

Oh wait... I just beat it! With 25 seconds left on the clock, too. :D

It was easy just block arrows and hope that when you run to get bushes they don't get shot.
