Selling Server
 

This is stupid but I have had 2 people ask me.
They asked if they could buy Krynn since I have decided not to bring it back.
I was offered 40 dollars from one guy and 60 dollars from another. Im thinking of doing it. You get everything Krynn if you buy it. Also. If it gets up to 150 if it does.. I will continue to work on Krynn and help out.

Its obvious that in this case its not for the fun of doing it because they havent done anything apart from hand over some money.

Although you would be making money of off it, I'd be disappointed. You don't know how these people will be and what they'll do with Krynn. Honestly, I'd rather you give it to someone who you know will do something good with it, and continue to make it into a great finished PW. But obviously you won't because of the money factor, that's a hard thing to turn down :( . I guarentee though that at least one of those people wasn't planning on paying.

Well good luck to whoever get's Krynn, it's a great PW in the making, and will be even better when it's done. Hopefully some idiot will not get it who will drive it down.

I agree with Kyden, what if the people turned out to give Krynn a horrible name? You really should just give to someone you know who could handle the responsibilty.

A name? That's the least they could do to it. Although it would be pretty bad if they gave it a name that ended in -ia :o
What about adding sub-par levels, gfx, scripting and staff. And not getting anywhere with it. These people probably think that they can just pay it, and get up, and be manager. Well whatever, I won't try to convince you more, I layed my opinion out on the table and it's solely your decision. I just hope you'd reconsider.

Second, I doubt it would come close to what Krynn had, and what it could be with more developing.

I think it's stupid to sell a playerworld, period. If the person dosen't have the talent to do the required upkeep on it, or even the talent to make a playerworld, they should not have one.

It's easier to make 60 getting a job as a bagger. You worked way too hard on Krynn (more than the amount of hours to get 60 as a bagger) to just sell it :\

Its doing no good sitting on my computer.. I agree I put lots of time into it but its just sitting not doing anything.

Then do something with it or give it to someone who will, or just put it to rest.

I would hope that they'd never put Mithica back up again, but then I realize that there aren't any graal staff dumb enough to put that craphole back up....

Although it is hard to realize how much time you put into something on a computer (doesn't time just fly when your on the darn thing?) but if you worked for $5 an hour for 12 hours you would get 60 dollars. Not only is that under minimum wage buts thats only about 1 1/2 days of work. Now how long have you been working on your server? Kind of makes you think, no?

People that want to buy servers with real money usualy dont have the skill to make a own.
