Hi, I am sure most of you at one time or another have heard of GraalForge. It was suppose to be a site for getting all information about GScript (graal scripting). But, It never made it for some reason and the domain was open so I bought http://www.graalforge.com . It probally won't be visible for 24-48 hours depending on how often your ISP refreshes its DNS cache.

Soon, well now, I am going to be looking for

• A host for the domain with mySQL, php, and the other bells and whistles any good host has now.
• A webmaster that will be commited. The webmaster will have full access to everything on the site to do as he or she wishes. The webmaster will be able to make the layout anyway he or she wants as long as it is good, not to cluttered, and the people like it.
• If the webmaster isn't good at GScript I will need a person who would like to type up articles and tutorial about Gscript and is fairly good at scripting.

I'll keep progess and other things about GraalForge posted in this thread.

Well, I was thinking...

GraalForge could be used for about anything graal. It doesn't have to be used for scripting. So I need a person with the folowing qualities:

• Can type long articles that are grammaticly(sp?) correct.
• Should have a clear understanding of the Graal Level Editing system and a background with staff jobs of Levels\Developing.
• Is commited to projects for "the long haul" and doesn't quit easily.

At first I did think of Kaimetsu but then I thought, Will he really want to help me? Ofcourse in my mind the answer was no, but I can always hope.

I'll be sure to contact Falados about it. I don't have any past relationship with him but maybe I can build one.

About Layout\Hosting\Backend:
I have found a person who is very good at webdesign and will host the website for a price. The guy I am talking about is the owner of Azuretek . I am sure most of you have atleast heard of him. The price he has quoted seems good for quality layout. This hosting he is going to give me seems very high quailty and has a very advanced control panel. Although we haven't settled on an exact price for the layout we have come to a reasonable price range. I may start taking donations becasue I don't exactly have alot of money. Also, I will need someone to write a backend for the website. PHP is highly suggested and unless you can change my mind only PHP will be used. The backend will have the basic user sign-up\login and change options. Contact me on this.

About Donations:
Would anyone seriously consider donating some amount of money to have a good quality website for Graal development? I would half to raise about $150-200. It seems like alot but if 50 people have $2.50 that would be $150. I'll post more information about this alter.

Probably not. Most people don't even want to shell out $19 for VIP.

How would the money get to you?
They think you may run off with money!

You cant script, so dont try to do a scripting website.

Obviously(sp?) I would use paypal for donations. It is very simple to give money through paypal.

Agh!, I have been stupid.

I don't need a fancy design or anything really spiffy. I need alot of content and user support. When I read this I immediatly thought of SoruceForge . I don't know why I didn't earlier.

GraalForge will be exactly what Linux Cyberjoueurs wants. And maybe even more.

I need a very good php coder. I am willing to pay if you are good enough. Contact me for more information.

Well, GraalFroge now has a host. Azuretek, thanks to Angel. I highly recomend this service.

GraalForge. I have a temporary underconstruction page there now. We should be totaly up and running within a month or two.

note: The page domain may not work for you untill your ISP updates it's DNS cache. This ussualy happens every 24-48 hours.

I wouldn't mind doing the layout and graphical part of the site, but as for actual web building, I have moterate capabilitys, but not enough to make something like you are talking about.

But I still make keen graphics
