Fighting on 2k2
I am actually mad about 2k2's fighting system.. I hate it there now because if I tried to kill lets say Ed and was level 5 he would kill me in like 1 hit, but I would not even touch me no matter how many time I hit him. If someone tried hard enough and took stayed away from Ed while still hitting him they would win.. but I don't know.

I'm unsure what the hell you are talking about. |
In more simple terms- I would hit Ed 10 times in a row I would probaly take 0 away from him he hits me once I die. Also it's stupid to try to catch up to them because they level up just like everyone else and you WON'T catch up to them, unless for some strange reason they stop leveling up and let everyone bypass them.

I mean he has alot of mana and a armour spell and his weapon blinds making you fail more, and naturally a level 5 like you couldn't do good enough damage to a level 12 or so, I mean come on no level 1 is going to walk up to a level 13 and kill him in a few hits |
Also no level 13 should be able to kill someone at level 5 with full armor and the same weapon in one hit -.-

1. Don't use me in fighting examples please.
2. Unless your level 1-3.. your not going to die in one hit from me |

It could be a factor that the someone has a upgraded weapon doing more damage. |

But if like a bunch of level 5's circled DragonX(Your welcome Ed), he would still win with ease wich is my point. |
Some people want it so a level 12 is GARAUNTEED to beat a level 11.
Some people want puny levels 5's to be more even with level 12's. Why can't we just keep it like it is? It is FINE! Of course someone who plays alot and has a powerful weapon is going to be someone who plays an hour a week. |
You didn't get what I said, like 7 level 5's vs. a Level 13 would still lose easily wich is not right :o

After we make the level 5 players equal in power to the level 12s... can I get like a Ring of Blood, Ring of War, and a weapon that does +200 damage?
Because I mean it's only fair... they get power and I get items. You know what... lets just give everyone 10,000,000,000,000,000 HP with a regen of +2,000,000,000,000 so then we dont have to even worry about this kind of stuff! |
The strong level 12 and 13 people have really strong armor (maybe mithril), upgraded and enchanted weapons and accessories (RoS and amulets and stuff). It's pretty natural to die very shortly unless you have the proper equipment and stats.
|
Also forgetting something. The level 12+'s actually play really strong players. That is their charcater.
They are like Hercules with the strength of 10 men. And they have earned the right to play such a charcater through hard work. |
Alright see this whole thing is really based on WC and AC, weapon class/armour class. Even if you have full armour on, chances are Ed's weapon class is still lower then your armour class, simply because hes prolly had a chance to level his Physical at SOME point and he has that RoF. So he will still hit you a good deal. Why you can't hit him is probably the same reason, because your weapon class right now is too high and he'll have a lower armour class, it may not look like hes wearing much armour but he is, not to mention he can blind you and has an upgraded weapon like Ghost said.

If level 1s can beat level 5s in a fair fight then wouldnt that make the leveling system kind of pointless?
Same for level 5s beating level 13s. It doesnt happen in any other games so I see no reason for it to happen in Graal. Besides you can technically catch up. The experience needed to change level doubles each time. So while you only need 4, 8 and 16000 the person 5 levels ahead needs 128, 256 and 512000. Plus lower levels get more experience. So you could get eventually to the same level as another person if you both killed monsters an equal number of times. |
