Best PW Manager?
 

Who would you say it is? I say the best managed PW is N-Pulse. But they dont, by far, have the most talent.

I don't know many of the current managers so I can't claim that my decision is a completely informed one but, of the ones I've seen, Moon God and Moon Goddess seem the best. That said, I still think there's much room for improvement.

You are right, we dont have alot of talent in certain areas, and we have alot to learn, but we are trying

RC is for working, if you want to chat get on Aim or something. Just a note on improvements:
Anyone no matter what age who stops learning because they think they know it all is of no value to themselves or anyone else. Knowedge and learning is a never ending process and only stops or should when you die.

ghostpirate's ideas are awesome, and that is why I think he is a great manager, he actually knows things that would be great for the server and he can put them all together into wonderful ideas

Moon God and Moon Goddess. Why? Probably because they are mature enough to handle it. Im not saying the other managers aren't. Im just saying these 2 are because I've never heard a complaint about them being corrupt or abusing anything. They limit their staff to just warpto rights and all. I think thats the smartest idea ever. They keep N-Pulse going good. Just look at NP. That server has really awsome things. And plus, there isn't ANY lag on that server which is why its fun to go there.

I was fired by her because she didn't like me. There's controversy but that's the biggest reason by far.
i don't know what she's trying to pull with this "guest RC" crap, she claims "lots of servers do it". name one besides DD.

Hmm, they told me that i was a poor foreginer, told me about my grammar. I dont have a problem when people tell me they dont anderstand me, i have a problem with it when they tell me it in a negative way.

They did and i dont feel i belong in DD.

You have a problem with a manager, then tell Nemesis. They can fire you for anything they want.

I'd love to see them try me ;) I'm pretty sure everyone is aware of the results that would follow such extreme actions.

Hmm. I've always understood that it was possible for an average player to get someone who takes care of and develops a PW removed for whatever reason(s) they have. I guess I was mistaken :x

As for the results...I'd pretty much delete everything on my FTP and leave who ever takes over with nothing. I see no reason to hand my project over to someone that does not know or understand what I'm trying to accomplish let alone never have worked on it with me before.

Not really because that is just abusing their power. If you have server rules besides Graal rules all Staff must be aware of them and each Staff is responsible to abide by them, BUT the Manager must also abide by ALL rules of Graal and the Server, he/she must at all times dispense all rules equally among Staff and not discriminate against anyone. I am a firm believer that all rules must be posted in a public domain so all can see and read them.(like a website) Any changes in the Staff rules need to be passed on to all Staff, this we do by informing the Chiefs and in turn is their job to MAKE SURE all have read and understand them, because the Chiefs will be held responsible that this is done. If this is all done as it should be, a Staff member doesn't have the excuse he/she didn't know about a rule. On Npulse, Staff when hired are required to read all the rules and send a email to Moonie and I that they have read and understand them. We overlook some mistakes on rules by new hires but do not let it keep occurring without consequences of their actions being looked at and dealt with. This is how we do it on Npulse and so far the system works well.

To get a Manager removed is an extreme measure for Graal to do, yes it is possible but the evidence of his/her continuous wrongdoing (one or even two instances won't result in removal) has to be very strong and PROOF of what is going on must be attained. Managers are not removed without proof , I know it has been tried with Moonie and I on a couple of occasions. The proof of the accusations were never there, maybe because they were false and were lies to start with.:\ Normally this is started by a fired ex-staff member who is out for some revenge on the Manager, most of the time it backfires back in their face.

Now as far as deleting files off FTP, well that in itself can get you global banned from the Game by doing that regardless of who made the levels or PW , it all belongs to Graal , a point you seem to be missing here.Once anything is uploaded to a server , you should know it belongs to Graal and that server , it is no longer yours to do with what you want. If you were removed it was for good reason or it just simply isn't done.But to trying to destroy the PW by removing all the files is very serious and you can bet your life you will be global banned from ever playing Graal again if you take such a not so smart course of action. I would seriously think about that one if I were you, and hope you never have to make a choice like that.

Wtf? Guest RC? She gives RC to people as like a way for them to just talk on RC? Omg I would fire her arse right there. Thats stupid if thats true. And no, I've never seen another server do it. Unfortunately for whomever would try such a silly thing on me and succeed, I'm quite certain my requests to discontinue my PW and prevent my work from being used by anyone else aside from GO staff would be carried out. Why should I throw away my hard work to someone that is more likely to bungle everything and complete destroy what I have created, hmm? Not to mention that the bulk of my project is not even online so it doesn't much matter ;) If I would get banned, so be it. I'd rather prevent what I had created from being ruined. I can still remove the files if I want. Its not like anyone is able to play at the moment anyway :p In fact, I've pretty much removed anything I don't currently need online which is...nearly everthing! :x ONO! I HAVE COMMITED A CRIME!!!! :rolleyes:

When/if I get this entire project completed, perhaps you will understand better? If I could get more help, my goals will be reached a lot faster than they are now. I still have a long way to go before I'll probably even have the main land completely filled out albiet its mostly forest.

The attached image is pretty much how far I am. Keep in mind I have lot of space yet to cover with stuff yet (including towns and trees along with other assorted decor). I haven't even begun to work on inside areas. Those will come last ;)

HoudiniMan made nick changers to change players nicks to anything he wanted.Gralat changers to give and take gralats,weapon changers to give and take weapons and i said NO i considered it corrupt.
Players play this game to PLAY not to have their stuff messed with, and for that HoudiniMan called me all those names.
And that was just the first time i fired him.

Doesn't seem he does know much about it does it? If he tried to learn more and argue less about how long he has been on DD , maybe he wouldn't have been fired. But then again I don't work or play there and this is just an outside opinion.

I will only make this comment on "guest or Non-Staff on RC".
At times I have had someone on RC that is not Staff, this was Amon-Ra. He was on to aid us in some script problems and he still is willing to do so from time to time. This in itself is not wrong, because it is to benefit the server and not just to talk or chat. You can do that in Pm's. Point I am making; it would depend on the reason the person was on RC and not just the fact that they are on it. It would be no different if you had a new Manager on your RC to help him by showing him/her some things on RC they may not know or just some things you may be doing on your server that could also benefit their server. Basically it boils down to why they are on the RC and not the fact they are. Realize this unless you are on RC yourself then the real reason they are on may not be apparent to the normal player on the Game, so don't be too quick to judge who is on and why.

I really dont get why you are all flaming tifa, she has done nothing wrong, guest RC is not used "just to talk" as you people have assumed, tifa is the best manager in my opinion, but thats just mine, please dont flame me just beacuse i've said this

I have the highest regard for Tifa , it's just what she did by posting for Cid is not allowed, We all make mistakes . I have done the same thing and got chewed out by Stefan about it and believe me I won't do it again either.

I have high regards for Tifa... My first PW i played on was npulse.... then doomsday i was staff from the time jubei was manager and then i began playing on SL and was a ET and scalper was manager.

I must say there are things that go on at doomsday that nobody in there right mind would let go on other PW's but i still like some of the staff Tifa, Cid, Saithe, Vincent,.... My reason for leaving doomsday was the stress level and issue going on in my life. I know there are alot of kid staff on PW's thats expected i am 18 i can work with kids its just kids with 0 respect and that are tottally immature and have no intention in helping a PW i wont work with them and that is why i did not return to Doomsday.

Anyways i am on Shaded Legends now i wish Tifa and Cid the best of luck and hopefully things will go smooth over there. I just couldnt put up with the issues anymore

Tifa posted for Cid beacuse it was an important thing that needed saying, she already said she wont do it again so you can stop bugging her about that, anyway people i think your supposed to stick to the topic, my p2p is running out in 2 hours so i wont be posting here again
